These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “really neat older build .42 ford looks like willies jeep has bf good wrench 275 hp add aluminum intake 4bbl electric ignition and headers i figure about 300 havent dyno ?no jerry cans has custon back seat gas tank has wipers heater tilt wheel im6ft 240 and drive it dont see much bigger than me enjoying it.has winch locking hubs all lights it has a gernorator not alternator nice blacktop roll bar the plasticwindows in top need replaced have gotten old and cracked out was quoted 825 to repair top,has locking hubs a stereo needs replaced bounced to death lol.
is registered to me but havent tabbed it in two years but start it religously and do a lap around property to keep everything functional am open to offers but need no help selling i will only respond to emails containing telephone numbers and dont do car reports and such will only be shown by appointment no test rides on asphalt you can drive it in dirt i drive it on street for i can bust it on command,previous owner/builder said he can get front tires up i dont try (im not as good with a wrench as he was)only trade would be deisel box truck 14 ft to 26 ft box under 100000miles yes ive cash to add if needed.”
“*Title is not usable, was filled out but never taken to license bureau* Rolling chassis project Ford GPW. This is an authentic WWII Jeep. Has enough there to be a restoration project, but could also be a restomod.
Paperwork shows it came from Kettering, Ohio in 1980, then went to Indianapolis, IN. In 1994 it was sold at public auction. Has the true GPW frame with square radiator crossmember. The serial number on the title is GPW10723 which puts it at early 1942, but the body number is 208184 which is post 1943. Original drivetrain is missing and both axles are simply housings – no shafts or pinions. Body and frame have their fair share of patches as shown in the photos.”
This 1945 MB was rebuilt in 2012. Unfortunately, it seems to be a mix of parts (GPW body and MB frame for example). Also, it seems the parking brake equipment was not installed.
“Documents list all the work that was done when it was restored in 2012, at a total of $22,566. I love this jeep but unfortunately I will be moving across the country in the next year and don’t have options for storage. Someone else will enjoy it!
Odometer 96,930 (no more than 25 miles have been put on it since the engine was redone.”
“1942 Willys MB Jeep built 1/8/1942. The serial # is 110515, frame # 110515, engine # MB595247. This Jeep was restored 18 years ago and driven 20 miles since. The Jeep has the original metal and Tub with some rust in the forward hat channel and a dent behind the passengers seat (see photos). The engine starts easily and runs very well, the transmission works as it should. The transfer case works correctly but is dripping some oil. All gauges work except the fuel gauge. The tires are as new and the brakes are very good. All electrical is working except the horn. Correct dish wheels. This Jeep has the correct steering wheel, the later WWII jeeps had the steel spoke wheels to save rubber.
This is a good looking and good driving 42 MB.”
“Rebuilt 15 years ago haven’t used the last 5. Has a charging problem. Had the generator locally rebuilt so I can only assume it’s the regulator which I will supply with vehicle. Good clear title. Good solid condition. What you see in the photos is what comes with the Jeep. OVM, some tools, jack, air pump, fire extinguisher, Decon cylinder with bracket, grease gun, oil can, water bucket, water can, combat wheels and Firestone tires, working 600 series signal Corp radio with all accessories to include crystals, spare tubes, lollipop mike, headphones, headset, carrying strap, complete vehicle and ground mount antennas, ground mount battery box, radio manual, remote, and antenna tie down with insulator. Numerous “F” marked parts to include but not limited to: bumpers, seats, grab handles, towing Pintle , and numerous bolts. Beach wood canvas top and seat cushions. Also includes rifle rack and hull compass.”
