(12/15/2020) This looks to be a GPW body on a CJ (Possible 1953 CJ-3A or CJ-3B) chassis. There’s no engine. The cowl modification is unusual, but I’d say the steering setup is especially unusual!

“Sandy is a rebuilt 1945 Jeep Ford. Army Jeep with detachable trailer (trailer not military). This Jeep is great for off-roading, adventures, and highway cruising. NEVER RESTORED. Sandy has no rust, an iron Duke GM 4 cylinder engine and clean retro fit. Has all original black out lights and bows for cover and the original summer top. Unknown miles. Great project car and for learning to drive stick.
This car was bought to teach my daughter about working on cars. She learned to drive stick on this car once it was finished and did the upgraded desert storm paint job.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4500.
(01/03/2021) Listed as a 1947, this may be an MB/GPW with a 3A windshield.

“Vintage Jeep Ford GPW 1942 GPW18221. Lots of original F script parts. Non running but engine turns freely. Engine is not original as far as I can tell as engine serial number starts with J. Front frame serial number is GPW18231 which falls somewhere between 3 and 7 of 1942. Condition is “Used”. Three 15” wheels and one 16” non combat rim. Would make good project or for parts. No title selling as is. Pickup only in SW VA or would consider delivering within 100 miles. No reserve.”
This is a non-runner.

“Up for sale is late 1942 Ford GPW WWII Jeep. This is fresh from the cow pastures of Texas!
THIS IS A NON RUNNING PARTS VEHICLE! Lets go with the “Good, Bad, and the Ugly”.
The good is that it is late 1942 ford with a lot of ford marked parts. It has an GPW radiator, early Sheller steering wheel, nice earlier style hood, ford axles, 1 combat wheel, clean rear panel, nice CJ2a style windscreen, a period correct hand crank winch on the bumper, 2 of the brass data plates on the glove box, motor is Willys MB that was a depot rebuild at the Red River Arsenal 3-3-58, WWII carter carb, OG oil bath air cleaner, and many F marked bolts. “1943 World War II military jeep. Clean clear California title with no back fees. It’s all stock except for the small Block Ford V8 that runs excellent. It also has hanging petals with hydraulic brake and clutch master cylinder. This is a great little run around hot rod Jeep that could easily be a candidate for a full restoration or Rockcrawler build. Or just leave it the way it is and have a great time. If you don’t think this is a great deal, then it probably isn’t the deal for you ? It has all of the hard stuff to find. Nine slot military grill with the stock headlights and headlight brackets. Tool boxes with latches in the back of the tub. Hood without Willys on it. The correct windshield frame. The stock high-capacity gas tank etc. (I will not be available to show this vehicle until Tuesday, December 29. This will be first come first serve in person cash sale.”
A solid GPW, but not quite all original and has some replacement parts.
