Mike shared this interested GPW build. It was a former Navy Sea Bee Jeep.

“1945 Ford MB GPW. Originally a Navy Sea Bee Jeep. Near new exterior paint. Chassis upgrade with 302 Ford V8, 4-speed transmission, 1980 front and rear differentials, Transfer case with upgraded Advanced Adapter heavy duty rear output housing. Front Disc Brakes, power steering. 302 Engine was professionally rebuilt and is balanced. New Holley 2-barrel carburetor with manual choke. Mallory Unilite Ignition with high voltage coil. Full roll bar.
Hardtop is an 1950s Koenig Iron Works piece. All metal with roll up windows, rear side sliders and standard rear door, doors have locks. Can be removed and I have a bikini top included. Has the correct shovel and ax, heavy duty rear rack and tire mount. Near new tires. Electric wiper. Project was completed around 3 years ago and driven limited times on weekends. Plenty of fun. Has a few minor issues: fuel gauge inaccurate, LED odometer reads intermittent but keeps track fine. Speedometer works great and is accurate. Drives great at freeway speeds as well as off roading fun.”
Not sure how much value is here.

“this is a 1945 ford gpw just like a jeep willys mb, this is a project, its 2wd and is set up for a small block chevy, and auto transmission, i believe it was a dune runner at some point, no engine or trans, body is i fair condition, has cage, locked Dana 44 rear axle and a mail jeep straight front axle, clear oregon title, I was gonna build a little hot rod buggy but have too many projects and not enough room, asking 750 or best offer, text is best, possible trades, no drugs”
Zach spotted this great, funky jeep. Listed as a 1952, it appears to be a GPW based on the front crossmember. Given it runs, it looks like a great price.

“Rare jeep. Good condition”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. One was $5000 and one $1000.
“I have two WW2 Ford GPW Jeep projects for sale.
1. 1943 Ford GPW rolling chassis and body. Frame will need repairs, body very rough. Frame number and body number match. No engine or trans included, however I have non working F script trans and transfer I will include at additional cost. This would be a good candidate for a replacement body. Clear Idaho title in my name. $1000.

2. 1945 Ford GPW restored chassis and replacement body, including front fenders. Includes F script transmission and bell housing. This has been a running Jeep. I am keeping the engine and wheels pictured for another project, but I have wheels and tires for it. This is a very nice looking Jeep and would be an easy project to complete. Clear Idaho title in my name. $5000.”

Listed as a 1943, it has rear floaters, but also has an MB/GPW body. The grille tilts, but the hinges are reversed. I suspect it’s an M-38 body on a WWII chassis.
