Year? GPW Chico, CA $12,000

Supposedly, this was used in the M*A*S*H* TV series. I guess it’s possible. Interesting that the driver side indents are missing. Looks like it has a GPW crossmember.

Early 1942 GPW Kingman, AZ $17,900

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Includes a trailer. Pics aren’t very big. This is GPW #7474. It has a Willys frame. Sounds like the seller has had to explain this too many times.

https://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/d/wwii-ww2-jeep-willys-bantam/6497307846.html

“WW2 1942 rare jeep this is NOT the common ww2 jeep this is a ford script with a Willits frame THAT WAS BUILT THAT WAY! from the factory serial number is 7474 it has crank to start, bocycle pump under rear seat, brass fire extinguisher, repro 50 caliber that is amazing not one of those cheap plastic wood aluminum trash looking machine guns too much to list. Usmc ww2 trailer will be thrown in if you want it TEXT show contact info

I have received emails that ford did not use Williys frames from uneducated people! Please note it is well documented and also on page 192 of the all American wonder volume 2 book it states that there is no doubt this happened and that my jeep is AMONG THE RAREST of jeep variants! Jeeps with a serial number below 8000 (mine is 7474 ) were built using willys frames in order to get production rolling for the war effort also windshield hinges and data plates are solid brass the Willy frame was however stamped like the Ford’s with a star 7474 then a star, so please you people who think you know educate yourselves thank you.”

1942 GPW Greenville, SC **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $15,500.

All proceeds from the sale of this jeep will go to a military history museum. Maybe it is related to this new history museum? Unfortunately, the GPW has some changes, including a VEC windshield, altered wiring, extra braces on the bumper, incorrect bumper, missing hood latch, and probably some filler on the passenger side behind the step. The glove box is also “missing”.  I’d look this one over carefully.

“Original body that has the Ford script stamped on rear panel. Serial #28563 (manufactured in May or June of 1942). 6-volt electrical system. 13 gallon tank capacity. Front headlights pivot upwards for airfield use. Tool compartments above each rear wheel (both have rust damage). Flat fenders, Gerry can and spare tire mounted on rear, pioneer tools mounted on drivers side. Jeep has been partially restored. The transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago an windshield has been replaced. Canvas seats are in excellent condition. The glove box is missing and some non-original holes in dash. A trailer is also available to go with the Jeep for an additional $750. The Jeep was a show stopper in a recent Armed Forces parade. The Jeep is currently on display in a Military History Museum and has not been run for approximately 5 months, however it ran great before putting it in the Museum. All proceeds for the sale of the Jeep will go to the Military History Museum.”

Has a few updates.

“Time to sell my old jeep. It is a 1941-45 Ford GPW, similar to a Willys MB series. The Jeep has an older chevy 283 V8 in it that starts and runs. I planned on fixing this jeep up, but haven’t had the time to do so. I have clean title in hand.”

1944 GPW Project Hobart, WA $1950

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Assembly required.

“1944 Ford GPW project jeep. It came from long term dry storage. It has a decent solid body and straight frame. It’s not perfect, but it’s an easy one for restoration or use as is.
Comes with a pair of GPW axle housings and the other parts shown in the photo’s..
Nothing else comes with the Jeep. Just what you see in the photo’s. No motor, no trans, etc…

If you have a rusty running jeep this could save you some time, effort, money.
I have the title
I DO NOT want to trade.
You load, you haul..bring help… It will all fit in a full size truck bed if you don’t have a trailer.
Please email your NAME and TEXT phone number. Or I will NOT reply to you.”
