Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/14/2017) Has a postwar drivetrain.
“Perfect base to start a restoration. Has a post war drive train from an early CJ. L134-T90-D18. Doesn’t run. Was converted to a 12v system at one point. It’s a mix of parts.
“I have for sale a cj2a that has a a ford gpw tub and fenders on it. The engine is stuck and there is a title. It does have the cj2a windshield, hood, grill, engine, t90 transmission, transfer case, axles and radiator, lots of parts for the money. The tub, fenders and several small parts are f marked. Don’t ask if it is still for sale, if the add is up, it is for sale.”
The front frame rails have a few repairs.

It has the original Tub … and a gpw (with gpw vin stamp) on frame…
Has a later Lhead engine thst runs great.
It has power steering. This is a mod that was already on it. but it looks pretty stock bc the steering column is the original type. Works great. And is really nice not to have to muscle the steering wheel
Also have new repro rear seat coming this week and brand new military top i have in the package still ready to put on. Waiting till the sun is gone to install. Its the orig military type without doors thats canvass
