This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a true army jeep that was manufactured by Ford Motor Company under license from Willys in 1944. It is a GPW, however the original motor and transmission have been replaced with parts from a CJ-2A. It has various additions, cuts and scrapes, and prior owner adaptations, but it is a pretty straight jeep with all the components in tact.”

“I am selling a few extra parts I purchased that fit Willys MB & some I took off an original 1942 Ford GPW Army Jeep. Parts may also fit CJ CJ2A, G503, M38 and other Civilian and Military vehicles.
I have a complete inc bolts, oil bath air cleaner and all parts to it in nice cond. $295.
Full complete seat set for front and have back but bottom cushion on rear is not good ,but I can have that one made new for $50 to make complete set.
Front seat cushions and covers are in good usable condition and hard to find that look like they match a working jeep and I also have the green dye included to make look new if you prefer that look. Continue reading

“This is a Ford GPW, produced 1941-1945. I will call this a 1945? This a restorable Jeep, but very deep and a lot of work. Machine gun plate still on frame under tub. the motor is a 6 cyl. non functional. previous owner cut a hole in hood, which can be repaired. I have a L head 134 engine that will go with sale for my asking price, but that also needs to be rebuilt. Collectors know what this is, if interested, ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000.
This one has been well cared for by the family.
“This is a Ford GPW made on 5/21/1943 a Friday, 1943. It was bought by my Grandfather in 1947 from fort Ord calif. It has been in the family since then and passed to me. It is in great shape with little to no rust and is stock, other than it is now 12volts and has larger brakes. This jeep had two things in life to do, and that was to go hunting and live in the garage. When you call I can tell you more about this grate piece of history.”
