Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. – Double roller timing chain and gears (Summit Racing)
– High volume oil pump and new pickup welded (Summit Racing)
– Heads reconditioned with new valve seals and valve job
– Crankshaft cleaned,journals polished,magnafluxed
– Block cleaned,honed,checked
– Transmission TH400HD (Bolt on yoke)
– Rebuilt to stock specs with mild shift kit
– New 2200-2600 rpm stall convertor (Speedway)”
