This looks like a good restoration project. I wonder if it starts and drives?

UPDATE: Was $23,900. **Status Unknown**
Here’s another pretty Jeepster. These always look great when all shined up!
“1950 WILLYS JEEP CONVERTABLE. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! ORIGIANAL IN-LINE 4 CYLINDER MOTOR. MANUAL TRANSMISSION. COLUMN SHIFTER. NEW TIRES.”
Here’s someone looking for Jeepster parts.
“Looking for parts for my 49 Willys Jeepster. front grille from a 48 to 49 wagon will fit as will the hood. But also need the jeepster chrome strip down the hood and the chrome T that goes on that year of the grill. 50 -51 will not work and are totally different. Also looking for interior parts and gauge cluster which is the square one. And looking for the side steps that go on the rear fenders. Would like the correct seats both front and back. And steering wheel center for black steering wheel.”
This appears to run and I can’t see any rust, though the pictures aren’t the best. This might be a decent deal.
“1949 Willys Jeepster. 327 chevy engine. I dont know for sure how many miles the engine has on it. Factory 4wd. Brakes need work. MAKE OFFER! Any questions call 214-212-8417”
It’s a beauty. I was a little surprised to see the engine area isn’t as polished as the rest of the jeep.
“YOU ARE VIEWING A 1948 WILLYS JEEPSTER CONVERTIBLE THAT RUNS AND DRIVES FLAWLESS. THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN RE-UPHOLSTERED ABOUT 50 MILES AGO, ALONG WITH THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. IT IS A REAL 1960’S HOT ROD. THE ORIGINAL MOTOR HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A STUDEBAKER V-8 WHICH RUNS FLAWLESSY. IT IS STICK WITH ORIGINAL JEEPSTER TRANS AND REAR AND FRONT END. JEEP IS FROM TENNESSEE IT NEVER HAS HAD ANY ROT OR RUST, SUPER CLEAN BODY. ALL ORIGINAL LAQUER PAINT JOB- CLEANS UP WELL, BUT COULD USE A REPAINT TO MAKE IT MINT. IT HAS A 3 SPEED WITH OVERDRIVE AND HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12 VOLTS. EVERYTHING WORKS THIS IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL FUN LITTLE HOT ROD …”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“You are looking at an absolute classic 1950 Willy’s Jeepster that has been beautifully restored. The Willy’s has been completely gone through from top to bottom. Please take a look at the album that I have created on Flickr.”
I’m not seeing the top, but otherwise this might be a good price.
“

You know, it’s just occurred to me I’ve never ridden in a jeepster (that I remember).
“Dark Red 1950 Willys Jeepster Conv,. Totally restored and rebuilt within the last few years. Jeepster mainly used for parades. Good top and side curtains. 6 cyl, 3 speed, 12 volt. Nice, runs & drives great.”
Here’s another nice Jeepster.
“I have for sale a 1949 Willys Jeepster in need of a good home. Has been garage kept and is rust free. I don’t have the time to give the attention this vehicle deserves. Everything on this vehicle is original, except the top and seat covers which are in good condition. It also comes with the side windows. It has: “Flat Head 4″ Three on the tree manual transmission. Optional overdrive. Previous owner was going to make into hot rod until he found out everything was original. Pulled gas tank to use as template and didn’t put back on correctly, so gas tank has loose connection after going down bumpy road and leaking on garage floor. Haven’t driven in a year, but started and ran great after buying new battery and installing new tune up kit. The only other issue with this vehicle is needing a new paint job and new tires. Serious inquiries only can contact me at (734) 558-1878. No trades. I have enough projects right now.”
Yeah, it’s a project, but it sounds like it might be cool. Hopefully, the body and interior are in at least decent condition …
