About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a project car that my dad started he was a body man, we inherited this and we are not mechanical. Body and frame parts has been restored. Engine is there not sure condition.”
This is a nice looking Jeepster Convertible. It might need some mechanical work.
“My father moved and I was left with some vehicles including this really fun jeepster, my grandfather was the 2nd owner in 1969 and it’s been in the family ever since, sad to see it go but I just don’t have the passion/ time and need to find its next owner on its journey! It starts and runs, the brakes and clutch need some work (mechanic friend took a quick peek at it) it’s cover has some wear and would probably need to be replaced , there is one missing panel I have been trying to locate through the move but without luck . One of the windows has trouble going up and down. Just an old but loved car and no one in my family has the time/experience to work on it!
No seatbelts , I see it being a great vehicle for a cabin, small town, ice cream run vehicle. I’d love to find someone that knows these hard to find vehicles and give it the love it deserves !”
“A VERY rare, complete 1967 Jeep “Jeepster” Commando, four wheel drive…even more rare by virtue of the intact factory convertible top, factory continental kit, and 3-speed automatic transmission. It has been speculated that this might be the last living example of this combination of “Jeepster”.
Overall in very good condition–body and chrome bumpers are dent free in excellent condition…all glass, including light lenses are intact…convertible top including rear window are intact…Michelin street tires are in good condition…all Jeep branding medallions are in place including on chrome hubcaps…all interior is in original and very good condition. “Full Custom 1950 Willys Jeepster. It just doesn’t get more unique or custom than this. Powered by a great running Chevy 350 with throttle body fuel injection spinning a 5-speed manual tranny. Sits on a Mustang II type suspension with disc brakes up front and drums in rear. Has a custom built interior, console, and a dash off a ‘40 Ford fitted with 3rd generation Firebird gauges and tilt steering. The hardtop is removable making it a slick little roadster to enjoy. It also has shaved door handles and the custom built tonneau cover for all your goodies.
Painted in a vibrant metallic blue with a bit of tasteful pin striping throughout. Deep old school rumble coming out the cherry bombs on each side. $26,500 seems like a very good deal for you from me. Let’s see what you think. You could not build this car for anything near that. I have gone thru the car nose to toes to make it safe and realizable. I have thousands of dollars of receipts that will go with the car. For the person that wants a very good and distinctive clean driver classic.”
“1949 Willys Jeepster fully restored. Awesome parade or just cruising vehicle. Completely rebuilt L134 and T86 three speed w/ overdrive. Truly a fun car to drive down the road. The video in the ad was taken 6/17/24. Lots of spare parts and manuals. Move is forcing sale.”
With three days left, the price of this non-running jeepster is currently at $650. Andy points out that for most folks, retrieving this from the island of Nantucket will be time consuming and extra expensive.
