” have for sale a parts jeep that is a Willys m38 military jeep. It has been converted to 12 volt. It does not have a title. The seats that are in it a not fastened to the jeep. The engine is a RMC m38 correct engine, the transmission and transfer case are the original military units. It has the correct m38 radiator. I did run this jeep off of a service tank. The engine does have some blowby. It has some rust through and has been cut on. This is a parts jeep or farm or trail jeep only. Please look at the pictures carefully. If this ad is up, it is still available.”

Has no paperwork. Looks like the stenciling might be original.

“purchased in 1966 from U.S.Army, one owner since- driven little from 66 to 86. from the latter it was only started 4 times a year. after 28 years we drove it out on the road this summer. we never titled this,and at this time we can’t find the papers from the Kanas military base it was purchased from. Only serious partys please, after 48 years it’s time to let it go.”

Runs and drives with some dings and dents. Has a 2A windshield for some reason.

Seller listed this as a 1953 CJ-3A, but it’s clearly an M-38.

“53 Willys CJ-3A original flat head 4 cyl, original transmission, original seats, 31×10.50 Bfg’s on steel wheels, soft top, KC lights, brush guard, heavy duty rear bumper, hitch, it does need brake work, but overall it is in good condition. Title in hand.”
