This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/24/2014) The flattie runs, but the CJ-5 does not.
“ have two Jeep Willy’s
No titles for either one.
One is missing part of the body but runs and drives (1951 M38).
Second Willy (1955 CJ-5) did run when parked about 10 years ago. Engine is free not frozen and has full body.
I was going to restore both but no longer have the time and wish to sell them.
I am told that the running Willy is a 1951 M38. The engine has been rebuilt runs good. Brakes all restored and is drivable.
Asking $3500 for both.

“Willy Jeep 1952 M38. , have original brass data plates, good frame 4 good military rims, body is not beat up,, repairable, lots of new parts, , new repro windshield, left fender. hood, transmisson cover, grill, approx,, $1500, in new parts,correct rmc serial# engine block. engine is currently seized ,soaking it now, no title, no seat frames or radiator,”

This may be a solid M-38.
“1951 Willys M38A1 military jeep, has hard top (metal), doors, tow bar, bow for soft top (no soft top included). Inspected but not currently registered (expired June 2015). Clean, good tires. Original 4 cylinder motor, converted to 12 Volt. This jeep is fun to drive, but is is very low geared so it is not made for driving on the highway. No power steering or power brakes.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1500.

Must have an updated motor since one of two heads is cracked.
