“1952 m38 willy’s 4×4 with arctic hard top from the factory. Running and Driving. It was converted to 12 volt and has a Buick 225 v6 engine. Lots of recent work done and new parts with receipts including: new master cylinder, brake shoes, 60 amp alternator, brand new radiator, new paint. Just rebuilt the Rochester Model B carburettor. 3 speed transmission with 2 speed transfer case rebuilt last summer. The electrical system was redone last summer. It is set up for towing with a mounted tow bar and wired for towing(4 prong). It also has a custom hitch on the back for towing a trailer. 6,000 lb. winch on front bumper with button control inside jeep. It has a second tank mounted under the back seats(needs cleaned) and also has the original. Full set of chains and second tailgate included. Aftermarket heater core mounted. Stay warm in the winter and get out in the snow in style this winter. Also the doors lock with the key say you can keep things inside safe.
I am sure I forgot some things so call or text with any questions or for more info.
I am only selling as college is on my agenda and the Willy’s has been but on the back burner.”

Both look interesting. You don’t find many M-38s with heaters on the cowl.

It may be an M-38, but the body is a replacement body.
“1951 willys 80% complete

It hasn’t run in a couple decades.
“For sale or interesting trades, needs restored is pretty much all there,24 volt, have some old doors, tires etc. jeep was last runin 1996. I do not know condition at this time., photos if interested.”
Has updated engine.
“1952 jeep willys m38. Ford 289 v-8 engine. It does run and is drive able. Have had this in storage for about 20 years. Just installed new gas tank and sending unit, new fuel pump and brake cylinders. Body and frame in good condition. $5500 obo”
Looks ready for the road, but it is also a good example of how the investment of time and money doesn’t always equal the market value.
“I had this jeep completely restored and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I need to sell to get a work truck. I would consider trading for a 4×4 diesel or gas crew cab flatbed dually; or just a good newer 2500 4×4.
Please do not waste my time with random offers and just plan junk. I have 33k invested in this jeep with supporting documentation.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
Includes some combat rims, so there could be some value here.
“Life gets in the way, I would love to restore this old girl but I just don’t have the time. I’ve spent a lot of time taking everything apart and starting to clean things up for a full ground up restoration but my time is needed elsewhere and I would like this to go to someone who will take care of her. There is only one cancer spot on the body tub and it’s under the passenger seat in the compartment and it’s not very big, should be a simple fix. I have a bunch of other parts with this as well. A few combat rims,CJ2A parts like a frame, fenders, trans/transfer case, axles. This is a project so you will need a trailer to get her home, I will help with what I can, but the frame is hard to move.”
