“I’m thinking about trading my 1950 Willy’s Jeep for an enjoyable daily driver. It has a 283 V8, manual transmission and Dana transfer case from a 1965 chevy truck, over sized radiator, Dana axles, Flowmaster dual exhaust, and sits on 33″ tires. It’s a head turner and it’s impossible to drive around town without people asking about it or saying how cool it is. In low gear range, it’ll literally climb trees. I know, I’ve done it. It is a 1950 so it has its quirks, but it runs and drives well. I just haven’t had time for any tlc for the last couple of years and would like to see it go to a good home, while I get a car I can drive around when when the weather’s bad. I could definitely use a truck, but am open to ideas. Would love a 4wd Tahoe or Yukon with a 5.3 V8 in it…. I’m sure I’d probably take the right cash offer if it came along.”

“This is a real army issue willys that was in the korean war which means it has a lot of heavy duty upgrades from the civilian model, it’s pretty much all original except the front bench seat but i have the stock buckets too and the front bumper trailer hitch for towing it as well. Just had a brand new carb and fuel pump put on it and the thing runs great and only has 30,000 miles on it! This thing gets lots of attention and is a blast to drive and will climb up anything!”

“”BARN FIND” 1950? 1951? or 1952? US ARMY M38 Willys, this M38 can be restored and/or updated for trail use. Was not able to locate any data plates and/or serial number. The original engine was removed and replaced with a Ford straight six and as a result a portion of the fire wall was removed. Has original tub, fenders, tail gate, transfer case, axles, frame, transmission, and hood.
Gauges do not work, wiring in poor condition. Driver side floor requires patch and repair, right side floor and cargo floors in fair condition.
The jeep does start and can be driven but, will require time and effort to make it roadworthy. If you are looking for a M38 Jeep for parts or restore, this might be just for you. The M38 has the strongest flat fender frame, T90 transmission, and Dana 44 rear axle.”
