About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“48 willys Jeep, engine has been rebuilt, it does run, but the steering box is bad, and obviously from the pics it does need work. But, its all original, and mostly just surface rust. It was my dads, he put a new windshield, taillights and headlights in it, and did take it gopher hunting a few times. I know its worth something to the right buyer, it will have to be loaded on a flatbed to haul it out..”
The engine runs. It sounds rougher than the pics show.
“M38 Korean War Vintage Willys Jeep. Has 7 orriginal brass dash plaques, M38 hardware and brackets, battery hatch in cowl, glove box door, large hole fuel tank, etc…. lots of M38 parts.
CONDITION: From the dash forward the body is in pretty good shape. All tub floors have been “repaired” but should be cut out and done over with Willys sheet metal. It has a Buick 300 engine that “runs” & ORRIGINAL T-90 TRANSMISSION. The brake and clutch master cylinders are frozen up. I have current registration and title.”

Only habit is holding this body together. Still, for $350, there might be value.
“Up for sale is this Willys CJ-3A Jeep. I believe it is a 1952 based on my research on the serial number, but there is NO TITLE so I am not positive. This is a true barn find, actually the barn was much nicer than the Willys (lol). It is complete but in very poor condition. The hood and grille are the only body pieces that are in decent condition, the body tub and cab are rotted. The flat head engine is seized because whoever stopped working on the engine 30 odd years ago left three of the four spark plugs out. The transmission goes into all gears and the thing rolls so the differentials are free too. I am guessing that the transmission, transfer case, drive shafts and differentials are all serviceable with some refreshment (new fluids, grease, seals and such). There is no tailgate. The frame is rusty too and may be too weak to be usable. Basically what you see is what yu get. This is a perfect parts vehicle for your project as it is completely intact and all of the little parts that nickel and dime you are here. The only obvious things missing are the seats, the passenger seat was gone when I found it and I am keeping the driver’s frame for my project.
Do not e-mail or text me, I will not respond. Do it the old fashioned way, talk to me! Call Gary at 440-728-0057 BETWEEN 3 pm to 11:30 pm ONLY. Thanks for looking, good luck in your search.”
(07/07/2011) “1952 Jeep Willys, Garage kept, runs good, needs brakes, has driver, passenger and rear bench seating. Flat head Ford, 4 cyl. Tagged and Titled in TN. Will consider trade for 4 wheeler.”
The has a rear pro, but hard to see it due to the bright pink color of this jeep.
“Want everyone’s eyes on your ride? This Jeep is truly one of a kind. It has combined aspects of both commercial and military issue 1952 Jeep Willys’. The HOT PINK color is also an eye catcher! The jeep is registered as a collectors, parade vehicle. It has 120,469 miles on it. Has been in storage for 5 years. It was in running order then, but needs some work now. Tires are in great condition! Body has slight rust and some peeling of paint on the hood. It is a 3 speed, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, neutral and reverse. Two functioning seatbelts on front seats. Back seat folds down flat, or can seat two when placed upright. Want to be the talk of the town? Want a creative way to advertise your business? This Jeep could be your answer!!! Asking $3500 (which is a steal for this vehicle), but feel free to make an offer. Selling do to moving to a location without space for it. Thanks for looking! (Jeep is pretty dusty in the pictures from its time in storage…it cleans up beautifully…and if you decide to buy it – I will personally clean the vehicle prior to your picking it up)!”
