Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willys wagon. $650 or first reasonable offer. Has clear title. Very complete but VERY rusty. Engine turns over but I have not been able to get it to start. I am trying to clear out projects I cannot get to. Please email for more info. and then I will give you my phone number. Once again, there is ALOT of rust in the rockers on this. I have spare solid doors and I believe a tailgate as well. Could use for parts, or as a challenge to your metalworking skills.”

It is rare when a seller writes that a jeep is more than 90% restored and it actually looks more restored than that. Looks good.

“1951 Jeep Willys — a classic! Hasn’t been driven for a while, but was running fine the last time it was driven. May need a new starter. Does not have e-brake, and needs a new transfer case for 4-wheel drive. Four new tires, new soft top, new set of 4 tire chains.
