This jeep looks like it rides a little high.  Either it’s got re-arched springs or tall shackles.

The seller lists two different prices for this M-38.  Strangely, the dashboard looks like a M-38, but there are no passenger side cutouts and no battery cowl lid.

“1952 Willis Jeep. Runs good and has a sound body. All gears are good. Enclosure included (soft top and sides). Removable back seat, gun rack, and tow bar. The vinyl seats are cracked, as is the windshield. This Jeep was restored before I bought it and has locking hubs and wide tires. (I have two of the original tires and rims.) I have owned it for 10+ years and used it for hunting, playing, etc. It is kept in a shelter. Due to infrequent use, I am willing to part with it. $5000 Cash OBO”

This is a very good price on a running M-38.  Is that the driver-side step hanging off the body?

This might be a pretty good price.  Only one pic, but I don’t see any serious issues.

This seems like a good price on a running M-38.

“Original L head, runs. It’s going to sit and rot with me so am selling. It’s in Grand Junction so easy to see. Yes title is good and in my name. Great Flatfender, military Korea timeframe with dana 44 rear T18 and T90. Trade for restoration work on my 1972 F-250 highboy, needs new wooden bed and various dent’s rust spots. May trade for trailer, or Jeep TJ parts, Dana 44’s, winches, bumpers”

This looks to me like it’s original, that it’s never been restored.  Given it appears to have under 10k miles, it seems to be an uncommon find.

“1952 M38 original condition except for 12v conversion. Was Stored in warehouse for over 30 years. Has some rust. Still has 1952 tires on it, original military markings and less than 11,000 miles on odometer which appears to be original miles based on the way it runs and drives. Have new gas tank but have not installed it…”

This M-38 looks to be in very good, unrestored condition.  If you like M-38s, this one might be worth checking out.
