About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Military m38a1 willys Jeep. Has Chevy 265 v8 with and top loader 4spd trans mated to original transfer case. Runs and drives, registered with clean title.”
“Two complete jeeps. The yellow is a 53’ and the green one is a M38. The yellow Jeep has a title but the green one does not. They both just need put together. Price includes 5 different engines, tons of parts, extra parts and a Willy’s generator as well! Generator has 535 total hours on it.”
The rear of this jeep is unusual and interesting. The work seems pretty good, but the ‘why’ will likely remain a mystery.
“M38 Jeep Project. Engine is… in boxes, one cylinder needs sleeved (see pics). Family rumor is that this was purchased as military surplus from Fort Ord. Open to offers, located in northern Utah.”
“Price reduced from 20,000 because of some paint damage. Off road adventures caused the small paint damage.
See photos.
Once in a lifetime purchase. Has been in my family for 40+ years. Need to sell to purchase another vehicle for my children to drive. This Jeep is not like ANY you will ever see. EVERYONE loves it. Definite head turner. You could enter it in a show or drive it to impress the neighbors! Welcome to the awesome Jeep world!!!!!
Rebuilt motor and full off frame restoration. Rarely drive it except to play in the mountains.
Text me for more information.”
“Nice almost all org 1952 M38 CND for sale. The good – Almost all org. Seems to be mostly a survivor. CND M38s are very rare under 3000 made as compared to 60,000 US. Rebuilt carb and all brake components are new. Runs great no shake or shudder at any speed does not jump out of 2nd at any time. Very Rare and much cheaper than a new side by side and it is worth more money every year. The bad- 12 volt now with non waterproof system. Some rust repair not perfect but good. Old dent on right rear looks to be not repaired correctly. Non org is the 12 volt and the lock out hubs on the front axle. The tool box was repaired at some time and is about 2 inches deeper than stock. Jeep is in AZ with clean title and AZ registration as Historic Vehicle. I have the complete roof with a few spare pieces and the canvas is good but the windows are not due to age and yellowing.”
