This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have up for sale a 1950 Military Willys that I got in trade and really have no need for. Pretty cool rig that runs, drives and stops. Its got its original running gear so its not going to break any land speed records. The body has been modified in areas for reinforcement mainly in the back where the tire carrier was added. It has minimal rust however the body is rough as in lots of dents. It does have new tires, new springs and has been converted to 12volt. The headlights are LED and work great and its equipped with a 12k winch that works. I don’t have time for BS so please be serious and only call if your truly interested. No this is not a daily driver, nor is it street legal (no turn signals) and yes it does have a clear title. I may be interested in trades but would rather sell it for cash.

“This jeep starts right up, might need carb adjustment (idles rich), also needs brake lines bled, and tested.
Mostly original with exception of 12V electric system, this is an original US Army Willys Jeep.
Included in the sale price is the arctic / cold weather hard top and doors. I will consider selling these separately, but really hope the new buyer will restore as a cold weather / MASH M*A*S*H jeep.

“This is a 1951 M38 Jeep. This vehicle has never been civilianized – it is still 24 volt. This is being sold as a project vehicle. The floors in this Jeep are solid. We did some of the major repairs here to present a running vehicle. This includes a new brake system (master cyl, wheel cyls, steel lines), new fuel tank, new steel fuel line set, a tune up, two new batteries, rebuilt carburetor and other small details. We also added new glass in the Windshield and brand new canvas seat cushions. ”

Runs like a new jeep. the previous owner rebuilt/ changed the engine.
I bought it as a project car but have no time to finish it. it only needs paint and upholstery.
