“This was/is, a deer camp_off road cool ( no license / registration _title ) trade. It has brand new tires (Dakota M/T_IT 245/75r16) and DOES RUN w/ a Ford 4 cylinder in good condition.The Brand New Carburetor needs a little adjusting. IT HAS NO BRAKES.
Great buy for Willy-Heads and is a perfect restoration project. 4 wheel drive works are functional.
We now have no room ,time or money to store and restore this ole Jeep.
Needs a good home .
Body is in good to fair shape in that….. its 60+ yrs old !”

(02/30/2017) Has a few updates.

“1950 Jeep Willy’s M-38. Original “go devil” engine was rebuilt 300 miles ago along with a new clutch, new water pump, fuel tank, brake lines, new wheels, and 5000 lb winch.

Runs and drives great. Also has four wheel locking hubs and tow bar for towing. I have the convertible top frame and an extra front end that comes with the jeep.”

“M38 Military Jeep 1952. Came off an Air Force base in S. D; sold to a farm next to the base; Air Force blue original paint can be seen under the orange; Jeep runs and is in fair shape; body has a rusted out area on one side under the door; otherwise body is pretty good; Arctic top has a dent on drivers side and could be pounded out; also comes with an original non arctic top; these M38 Jeeps are getting hard to find in any shape; This one has been upgraded with the M38A-1 coveted F Head engine! ”

Craig spotted this one. It has some rust, but given the completeness and condition of everything else, this is definitely worth a look.

“1951 Willys Jeep, runs and drives. Looks good, it needs a few things but at 65 years old we all need a few things. I’ve seen much worse go for much more, so $5k is reasonable for condition. Has canvas top (not shown). Tires are almost new.

Reason for selling, it’s my Dad’s and he can no longer drive, so I’m selling for him.
