It’s an M-38 that has a few MB items on it. The seller believes the windshield to be an MB windshield, but it appears to be an early CJ-2A windshield.

“I am selling my Willys M38 Jeep that was finished as a MB clone. This 1952 military jeep was built for the Korean war and is a true military jeep, but this one has the MB grille/bucket lights and older style windshield added.

Many new parts. The Willys runs and drives well and is parade ready. No oil leaks to speak of. Maybe one or two drips at the most. I drive this jeep every other day to the store and everybody honks and waves. This is a great jeep for you to have fun with the kids and grandkids as it has all the safety upgrades, such as blinkers, tail lights, seat belts, head lights, black out lights, and horn.
This jeep starts every time winter or summer. 4×4 works as it should. Not perfect, but ready to drive and have fun with. It cruises about 40 mph. The speedometer reads about 8 mph too fast so you’ll think you’re driving 48 mph! Clean Kansas Title.

“1952 rust-free M-38CDN military jeep. Made in Canada by Ford with all Willey’s parts.
#506 of 1911 made.
Runs and drives excellent and everything in working order.
This is as near original as you will find for the flat fender jeep.
Extra parts go with this vehicle, such as hood,generator, voltage regulator, etc.
I am selling for my father and may need to provide a separate number for questions I can’t answer.”

“If you are looking for a military jeep to restore this is it. Every thing is original and it is 99 percent complete. I bought it from the daughter of an older man who had planned to restore it for his grandson. However he passed and it stayed in a garage for many years. It is currently in my garage. I have decided to see if I can sell it as is. If not I’ll do the restoration in the summer. It has some rust but nothing serious. The frame is excellent. This is a time capsule for someone that wants a true military jeep. ”

Aftermarket tub, Chevy 260 motor inline 6 with 3 speed standard transmission (ran up until 3 months ago when it was taken out of another vehicle, not currently installed in jeep). Some work has been done on tie rods, fairly new tires, tub has been primed. Great project vehicle. No title. ”

It’s a project.

“Selling a 1951 Willys M38 Jeep. This is a cool project that I no longer have time or resources to finish. I have had Jeep for 13 years and have done alot of work to this point. Jeep is M38 frame, body, drive train with a Dana 41 rear axle. The front grill is from a CJ3A. Jeep has a 4 cylinder Chevy engine out of a mid 60’s car.Jeep has power steering as well. Jeep ran, drove it around the block and then started taking Jeep apart, etc., Jeep has custom 1 1/2 body lift, heavy duty shackles, and is set up for dual shocks with a very rare, vintage heavy duty Rancho dual shock lower mounts. This is a project and needs to be wired, needs a radiator, seats mounted, steering colum built. Jeep has upgraded 11″ brakes. I was building this Jeep to look Military on top and hot rod below.Body is fair and has some rust on drivers side front floor.Any ways, thanks for looking and please feel free to ask questions.”

“I don’t know much about these Jeeps. I recently acquired this Military vintage Jeep from the previous owner who obviously put a lot of effort in restoring this vehicle both mechanically and body. A few after market refinements were put in place including: electric fuel pump, alternator, turn signals, back-up lights, gauges, exhaust. Looks like the entire drive train has been gone through. It starts and drives great, 4WD works, brakes well, solid steering, good clutch etc. Looks to have a full floating rear axle, front locking hubs, wheels and tires in great shape.

Piston are 9.3:1 .030 over SpeedPro with Teflon coated skirts, Aluminum Heads have 200cc intake runner and 60cc chambers, (valve are one piece forged PBM Erson EV8 staineless steel 2,02 / 1.600, Bronze valve guides, Chrome Moly PBM Retainers and Keepers, Erson Springs good for .550-Lift, 7/16 ARP screw in studs ans Guide plates, ans ARP Head Bolds), Double Roller Timing Chain, 5/16 Hardened Push Rods, SpeedPro Camshaft 214/224 with .472/.496 lift, Erson Forged 1.6 Aluminum Roller Rockers with needle bearing fulcrum), Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock 1403, 500CFM Carb, GM HEI Distributor, GM Delco Remy Alternator and new starter.
