Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This might be an interesting find. Did the early M-38a1 come without a tailgate or is this a later model body?

It has an overdrive, a sm420, and presumably a sm420-dana 18 adapater. There’s some value here. There is no motor.

This has one of the more unusual stars I’ve seen on a jeep. The seller is deploying to Afghanistan, so needs to sell quickly.

The flattie looks to be a M-38, so the year should be 1950 or later. The other I’m guessing to be a M-38a1. It’s a bizarre parking job.
“The red jeep ran when i got it 5yrs ago. The drive train worked good too. It has a title. The yellow jeep has the motor taken out of it and is in the back of it same with the front clip. The drive train is good on it though. It dosent have a title. I was gana take the two and make on nice one. And take the rest of the other one and make a trailer for it. This appears to be a package deal. It looks like this ’49 has a CJ-2A windshield.

Maybe it has an overdrive? I don’t see a great deal of value otherwise.
