“With a very heavy heart I have decided to part with my jeep. I did a complete restoration on this jeep back in the late 90’s, had it in several Petaluma Veteran’s Day Parades, and used it as a regular driver for a long time. I drove the hell out of it, so much so that it needed to go through another rebuild. And that is where she is today, in the middle of a rebuild. However, I find that I am at an impasse and I’m just not getting this project done so it’s time to go.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
This is a mix of parts. No pics of the trailer.
“This 1941 Willys MB Jeep has been in service for 74 years as parts wore out or where damaged they where some times replaced with more modern parts . It has 1942 grill and fenders . CJ2A tub and motor . No rust , runs and drives great . ”
Runs, but no breaks.
“Here is a nice barn find 43 Willys, this has the correct drivetrain with mb engine and t84 transmission, this does rub no breaks currently, this is a very nice restoration project,”
It’s a mix of parts.
“This Willys is a true survivor. The id number is a MB number, but is considered a 1947 by the DMV. The tub is a MB. The jeep was modified for a film to look like a M38. The driver side has been smoothed over with bondo at some point, but the ribs for the tools can be seen on the inside.
The window is post war as well as the M38 grille. The jeep will need to be seen.
It needs tlc for sure but is a driver.
I have the window rubber, just no glass.
The engine is what I can best figure is a 1953 F-Head Hurricane engine. It has the generator, but is wound to a 12v system.
It has Model A tail lights.
The tires are new as of July 22nd. I also had Willys hand painted on the rear tailgate, as well as a personal tribute to a fallen family member, as well as a WWII Kilroy was here.
I am also having the rims painted green this week.
I am fixing it up as I keep driving it. If it doesn’t sell for my price, I will be fixing it up and keeping it.
The footlocker doesn’t go with the jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $850.
There appears to be value here.
