Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1942 Willys Jeep, 350 small block chevy engine, 4 speed manual with twin stick t case, 4″ lift 1″ body lift, 33″ tires with good tread, No top or doors, this runs excellent, shifts well, goes down the road like a 1942 Jeep would 😉 I bought this to tinker with over winter and fell into another project I’ve had my heart set on for months and finally got the guy to sell it to me so, sadly this has to go, and fairly quickly as I’m out of space and don’t want to have to store it. I have fixed a couple oil leaks, the carb is fully rebuilt, it still needs some odds and ends but this is a great novice project,as it’s easy to work on! Come see, make and offer and drive this away!”

“1942 Willys Jeep. Many newer parts including canvas top. Has combat wheels and military tires. In good working condition. 4 wheel drive working fine. Also included is a WWII Bantam Jeep trailer. Jeep and trailer sold as a pair.
These Jeeps are becoming very rare and are a definite collector’s item. PARADE READY!”

“MUST SELL: 1942 4×4 Willy’s Jeep Has Small Block chevy, 4 speed transmission. “NEW’ Suspension seats, Brakes all around, Edelbrock carburetor, Edlebrock intake, HEI distributer, plugs and wires, exhaust manifolds. The paint is in excellent condition and the body is straight and rust free.
This jeep was a project my husband was working on. Due to his passing it remains unfinished. It needs a few additional things done. I know it runs well.

UPDATE: Still Available. The body is newer than a ’41 and appears to have been modified a little at the tool indents. Also note the driver’s side wheel. It appears to be pushed back a little farther than normal. Thanks to Colin and Richard for spotting these issues.
This could be a slat grille. It has an early gas tank.
“up for sale is a 1941 willys mb army jeep. it has the 4cyl “go devil” engine with 3 speed transmission high and low range and of course 4wd. its all original except for the fuel tank had previously been replaced prior to purchase. also it has been converted to a 12v system. the windshield frame is included. it is bent but the glass is there. it also has a new carter carburetor. it DOES NOT RUN!
