About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1942 willy’s jeep MB asking $5500 OBO. runs and drives good, 4×4 works has HI and LOW gear, 3 speed Transmission, Texas Blue Title as1942 Jeep Willys Serious Buyers Only Please”
“WWII Willys MB Jeep. There are no data tags on the glove box; The tag on the frame is broken, but the remaining part shows MB 4235. The body number on the toe board is 207190. The jeep can be used for parts or restored (it will need a lot of work). It has four combat rims, two have issuse. The grill is welded to the fenders. The motor and transmission are not original. The motor looks to be a buyback as it has the oval pad for the serial number as the original motors do. it has no radiator. The driver’s seat will need some repair, but the passenger’s seat is great. The jeep is located in Billerica and we can assist in loading it on your trailer. $1300 or BO”
“WWII Jeep parts. Ford GPW frame with front and rear axles. Willys body, hood, fenders, grill, and fuel tank. Hood, grill, and fenders are rust free and in good shape. The body has rusty floor. The body is just sitting on the frame, not attached. These are the left over parts from two different projects. $200 for everything.”

“Good: Chevy 350 with new cam and vaulve job, SM 465 trans with NP 205 transfer case, cd player with aux input/water 4 water proof speakers, new wireing, tow bar and haul lights ready, new gauges, electric fan, and 33 coppers with less than 300 miles on them.
Bad: Leaks oil and needs body work/paint
Broken: rear drive shaft( priced new custom drive shaft and it cost 300 plus install)
I still have alot of the origonal parts – flathead if you want to restore. I will miss my jeep but with 2 kids and another on the way I need at toy with a roof and seat belts. Its alot of fun to take out in the desert and for light rock crawling. She will power over anything in granny low and if that don’t do it the 4×4 works great, you will roll over backwards before you find something you can’t climb. 5000 dollars o.b.o or 1973 or lower running muscle/sports car. I enjoy working on cars and need a new project after parting with this one. I can tow it to the location of your choice after cash our trade is in hand. Call me at five20 nine91 eight nine13.”

This looks pretty rough, but it might be worth a look.
“I have a 1943 mb jeep.It has been sittting in my barn for 30 years. It has not been driven since. I have done a complete overhaul of the drivetrain back in 1981,however nothing was done to the body because I intended to use the jeep for off road use only.Long story short there were major changes in my lifestyle shortly thereafter and the jeep has been stored ever since. I never drove it more than maybe 200 miles. The body is rough with some rust out in the floor, I do have some seats for it although not in the picture,The tires were brand new back in 1981 however I am sure they are dry rotted by now. The brake system will need overhauled again by now and quite a bit of miscellanous work to get it goin again. When it was overhauled the front and rear axels, transmission, and transfer case were rebuilt with all new brgs, seals, and any other worn parts. The trans was upgraded to a t90 model from acj3a.Also the front axel was upgraded with new spicer u-joint type axels{160 dollars each back in 1980}with anew set of warn locking hubs”
