This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/14/2010) The pics are a little misleading as the engine (chev 283) is pulled and needs the heads rebuilt. This includes a car trailer.

Has Chevy 283 SM V8 11″ brakes new clutch, carb, alt, HSD distributor. 283 is partially disassembled and needs rebuild 2 sets of heads T90 tranny 6.5 ” tires and wheels. New CJ5 304 V8 radiator. New exhaust. Comes with car trailer. Front axle locking hubs. Spare MB grill.”

“1945 Willys MB for sale. It has a rebuilt motor that runs great, it only has about 15 miles on the new motor. It has all new wiring and it was converted to 12 volt. It has to many new things to list so give me a call and take it for a test drive. I started to restore the jeep but I did not know how much money it would suck up. The jeep is fun to drive but it is not completely original but it could be put back to original if someone had the time and money. I would trade for a nice running 90s toyota mr2 or nissan 300zx or a 3000gt,but it would not hurt to offer any thing all I could say is no”
