Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’m selling my Willys Jeep. my grandpa gave it to me and i was going to fix it but i dont have time and i need the money for school. the motor is apart right now….i could it back together if u want but i figured i was saving u time so u dont have to take it apart again. i replaced a cracked valve and a cracked piston but one of the bearings was lost while putting the pistons back in so thats all u need. it has a ford tub and a willys frame i have seats out a blazer to put in it and i have tires to put in it so its easier to move but they arent in the pics. askin $1000 obo”
This looks like a nice rig for the price.

There’s been some patching and cutting to the driver’s side.

This looks like it could be a good price for an MB in very good condition.

This MB appears in good shape, though I can see some body dents. I think it has a CJ-3B windshield though.

This sounds interesting. The seller claims this is unrestored (and maybe the seller just means it hasn’t bee pieced together). If so, it’s been well maintained.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $750
This has a nice rollcage, and HEI distributor, v6 headers, and possibly a one wire alternator with the V-6. This might be a decent deal, especially if you have another tranny around.

This is a dissembled project with a rough body that needs to go asap.
