These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 44 MB 90% origial tons of extra parts engine, transmission parts,fuel tanks, arctic top, 1950’s jeep cans, extra set of wheels, carburetors, lights, gauges, NOS distributors, spark plugs,gasket sets. All or part Wife lost job so its gonna go.”
“This Jeep was probably here in Southern California on a military base since new. I had the body taken down to the bare metal before having it repainted in the original olive drab, the body was solid with almost no rust. It was painted from top to bottom as you can see in the pictures. The black California license plates that were assigned to it in the 1960’s are still registered to it, I have both plates. It has new canvas seats from Beachwood Canvas, the radiator was recored and the brakes were recently serviced. “
This seller is open to trades, including ex-wives — not exactly sure how that works …
“I have a 1944 Willy’s MB Jeep, AS you can tell from the photo it’s been sitting for a while. It was in great running order when I parked it so it would take some TLC to fire it up again. Great Project . MADE IN AMERICA ! Also have an EXTRA MOTOR, 2 fenders, front grill, hood, hood has a hole cut in it though. So i will be accepting any offers and or trades,other vehicles , skilled labor,landscaping, ex wives, etc. Let me know.”
“Here is a 1945 Jeep willys MB, it has a 327cu motor runs fine with a 4spd trans, 1976 CJ axles, 33″ tires, needs slave cylinder for clutch. it is a great four wheeler, stump puller, or ranch mule, will smoke all four tires any time, we have never got it stuck.”
“Low hood flatfender willys,with mid 80’s chevy Iron Horse 4 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Engine runs and is installed but is not hooked up. New radiator core, 2-1/2″ lift springs, body is pretty strait .Good tires and wheels,Has steering column but not installed.I have original transfer case (doesn’t fit new trans) but nothing installed.4 point cage, no windshield frame or top.”
This MB comes with a brand new body. The rest of the parts appear to be a bit rougher.

There’s been a variety of updates to this MB, including the rear bumper, the later model windshield, the radiator, the wiring and more. I’d have to agree with the seller that this might make a good platform for a restoration project based on the pics.
“This is a 1944 Military Jeep delivered June 12, 1944. The original zinc dash plaques match the frame serial. The engine serial is 3J50087. I do not know for sure if it the original engine for certain. It has been converted to 12volt. I started working o this Jeep in 2003. Since then I have installed, rebuilt, or replaced the following.—Engine gaskets, timing gears, mounts, radiator, belt, hoses, coil, plugs, distributor, carberurator, and air duct. Brakes, changed to 11″x2″ duo-servo shoes, hoses, steel lines and switched to dual reservoir master cylinder. Locating it in the stock location with a kit from ATV, retaining the stock pedals. Front axle, wheel bearings, seals and nuts, spindle bushings, steering bearings and felt seals, inner and outer axle seals….”
Empire Tractors were built from parts that are also used by Willys, such as the transfercase (spicer 18), transmission (t-90), differential (spicer 25) and more. You can learn more about the specs for these tractors here. Note that the seller claims these were built out of surplus WWII jeeps, however the t-90 was a CJ-2A tranny, so it seems more likely to me that they shared parts with the CJ-2A rather than built from the MB.

THIS COMES WITH A BELLY SICKLE MOWER,THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED IN 20 YEARS. 3500 FIRM. MY NUMBER IS 660-267-3282 THANKS FOR LOOKING”
