About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Has a civilian engine (or head at the very least) and some other updates. It’s listed as a 1942, but I don’t see any reason to think that year is correct.
Has a price listed of $8888, but that appears to be a placeholder. The seller is more interested in trades or an offer. Looks like a tailgate has been added to the back.
“1943 willys. Its runs pretty, good everything works mechanically lights do not work they need re wired 4×4 work hi and lo . it dose have bit of knock in the motor but nothing to serious. The hood is now on it. The carb was just all rebuilt with new gas lines (not all of them are on). New gas tank , all the fluids were changed . it dose leak a bit of oil. Just testing the waters a bit interested in trades or make a offer.”
“Willys MB Jeep Body (Tub) – Used take off part from a World War II jeep. The body has some damage, but much of it is still restorable. Come and see it for yourself.”
UPDATE II: The header has been corrected. It’s actually a GPW. I’ve also added some additional pics:
UPDATE: It appears this may be a USMC-modified based on the Holden design, rather than an actual Holden. This may explain why Frank isn’t seeing details he’s expecting to see (see comments)?
A person I trust has checked this out and confirms it’s a USMC Holden. But, it’s rough, too.
“42 MB prior marine ambulance. Open to offers. Have extra parts and pieces available. In Redding Ca. On a non op also have a rolling CJ 2a with no engine but have plenty of trans and transfer cases. Would like to make a deal on all of it I have.”
The serial number is listed as #GPA8424, which is strange given it does not look like a GPA nor a GPW. However, the dash plate indicates the serial number is 198360, which puts it as a very late 1942 MB.
“A mountain of a man sat to my left, a cheerful grin spread across his face and both of his ‘bear paws’ gripped the steering wheel as we drove though a misty beach town. Bundled up from head to toe and wrapped in 1000 blankets, my siblings and I loved this special time with our Grandpa. Continue reading →

Comes with a bantam trailer. Brand new canvas top, windshield cover, headlight covers, and trailer cover from beachwood canvas”
(08/18/2018) It’s supposed to have an overdrive, but I don’t see an overdrive shift lever.
“1945 willys MB parade ready to go… overdriver trans so you can go on the highway orginal 4 cyl flat head. with tow bar and trailer to put it on . pretty much every thing brand new .”
“1945 mb2a running jeep. Its rough.. but can hit the trails. Has another frame and tub and front fenders plus more extra parts. Stock 4 cylinder flat head and running gear.its a three generation jeep. Clean title. Runs and drives just needs a overhaul.”
“Very early production Ford GPW on a Willys frame. This is a Script tub, but the back side is covered wit bondo. Nice flat top grill with marker lights. Post war engine and T90 transmission. Two side grab handles. The tub is very rough. Frame has been cut, but well worth saving because it’s an early Willys frame. No glovebox data plate. Front passenger side shock tower is broke. Price is $1800 USD. Not sure why it’s showing as CA. No title. I can help with loading”
“1952 cj2a project no title bill of sale. New springs shackles body mounts. Ford 289 started mounting with adapter bell housing. Most of the paint removed. Stock axles trans and transfer case”
