These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Restored 3 yrs ago, all sheetmetal original other than repair panels and grill, have original grill as a wall hanger but is very usable, post war engine block with gpw internals professionally rebuilt, original T84 that is finicky and have to double clutch to shift down from 3rd to 2nd, all other running gear original and rebuilt, very nice old Jeep that gets tons of comments,”
“Here I am putting my 1951 Willys Jeep up for sale. This was a military jeep body style around 1945 but was tilted as 1951 as that is when the government sold it to the public. I have owned the Jeep for about 7 years. It had a new paint job 5 years ago and has been garage kept at my business since. Only taken out a few time by my employees. I need it to go to someone who will use it and enjoy it.
The things that I have done since ownership are – New Paint job, New Water Pump, Rebuilt Transmission, New Clutch, New Interior Rhino Line, New Air Shocks in rear with built in compressor, new electric fuel pump(bypassed the original fuel pump, this thing fires up right away with out stomping on the gas pedal 5 times before turning the engine).
Besides the items listed I don’t know any other history. Its a 70 year old classic, not in Perfect shape but is very nice and definitely turns heads. Has a tow hitch that hooks up to the front bumper to go with it.
I will consider cash, cash + Trade and or a trade(if I really like it)”
(02/20/2019) Has some floor patches, but looks like a solid parade jeep.
“This is a 1942 Willys MB Jeep. This Jeep has been converted to a 12 Volt electrical system from the original 6 Volt system. It is an older restoration – please see the pictures for details. In the past it has had some body work done and floor repairs were done with sheet metal. The wiring in this Jeep needs some work and it could us a canvas makeover.
Since this is an older restoration most of the parts on this vehicle are original on this vehicle like the wheels and rifle rack.
This MB is in good driving condition – Perfect for someone starting in the military vehicle hobby or wanting a nice parade vehicle. Comes with all accessories pictured. The pedestal is a homemade pedestal with original .50 Cal’ Cradle.”
“1945 Jeep.
Clean Title, runs great, one owner past 36 years. Registered, licensed, and road worthy. Maintained yearly and garage stored. This is a Great hunting and off highway rig and has the advantage over modern UTV’s as it can be licensed and legally driven on highways and streets.
DOD 1/14/42. Plates are in pretty good shape, but they are installed on a glove box door. MB 111050 with DOD of 1/13/42 is a non-glove box slat grille. It’s therefore very possible the plates on the jeep below were originally on a different jeep (or body). Includes a Bobcat hood.
“Powerful V-6 Buick Motor Conversion done right. Aluminum Radiator, Electric Fan, Doors not shown but included. Oversize Cleat Type Tires, 2 extra gas tanks. Towbar and extra hitch. Road Light Bar. Personal Jeep owned many years by a particular owner. This is a rare early production model built in 1942 by Willys for government issue. Painted in Navy Gray, recently serviced and needing nothing to drive away!”

Condition of jeeps vary, but there are MBs/GPWs, VEC CJ-2As, CJ-2As and more. The location appears to be southeast of Portland (Happy Valley area). Auctioner will publish address a week before the scheduled auction date.

Seller believes this is a 1945 VEC CJ-2A, but it looks more like a GPW (tool lids) with a CJ grille to me. If the serial number is accurate, it may be a 1943 GPW.
