About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Slatgrille Willys jeep, of the roughly 650,000 jeeps made in WWII only the first 26,000 were “slatgrilles” this jeep is rough with a ton of bondo and fiberglass slathered everywhere but the tub is still restorable, I have repaired much worse. It has the original axles, t84 trans and transfer case. From the front crossmember to the rear the frame is very solid but the original front frame horns have been heavily modified and need replacements. The motor is not original and total junk. It comes with a bill of sale. I do have a 1942 title i will throw in. I may trade for a less rare but better condition military or Cj2a project, an M151 project would definitely get my attention. 570 two38 1591.”
“A collector’s item, one of 8,598 Willy’s MB model, produced in 1941 (VIN number 101712). This Jeep is a unique model including an engine with a head, manifold and carburetor which differs from later Willy’s. It is fully restored, ready for parades and events. It has mainly original parts and components. Clean title. The buyer will receive a special book with a description and photos. For a history enthusiast, it will not only be a fantastic fulfillment of the passion, but also a great investment.”
Joe-in-Mesa’s friend Keith shared pics of this Hawaii-Style looking jeep. Keith is willing to sell it, but also wants to learn more about it.
To me, it looks like something someone brought to the US Mainland from Hawaii. You can compare this to the others we have documented here: http://www.ewillys.com/tag/hawaii-body/
If you have interest in it, feel free to email me and I’ll pass along Kieth’s info: d@deilers.com.

“The jeeps were all completely disassembled individually, labeled and put back together maintaining their integrity. They took about 2 years to restore all three. All will need a tune up to start and run. They were put away running last fall. All these jeeps have original bodies and frame, All sandblasted and primed all three bodies and frames. These have original WWII era engines and running gear, All the trannys have been rebuilt. New wiring harnesses, rebuilt. rebuilt two of the engines and did the head on the other, These are restored to WWII specs using quality WWII aftermarket, WWII used and NOS parts. They are not perfect, but all complete and solid jeeps. Clean CA titles on all three.
If you buy all three, I will throw in two engines, a gpw transfer and a bunch of extra parts.”
“For your consideration, a nice 1944 Willys MB. Jeep has all original sheet metal, no patchwork. 5 original combat wheels and tires. “This listing is for a 1945 WWII era Willys Jeep. This vehicle does not run and was in barn storage for 60 years. The gas tank and gauges/instrumentation were modified. This Jeep would be ideal as a parts car or restoration project. There are some additional parts that will be provided with the purchase of the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for removal and transport of the vehicle after the sale is completed and title is transferred.”
