About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1945 Willy’s jeep. It is good shape for being 74 years old. It still has the flat head in it and cranks right up. The person I got it from said the winch worked but I have not messed with it. 4wd drive works and the low and high range. It does leak some oil in places. It’s a fun and nice jeep. Every time I ride it around people talk to me about it. I am going to move soon which forces the sale otherwise I would keep it. It has been converted to 12volt.”
“1945 Willys ‘Flat Fender’, Chevy 327 V-8, 4-Speed Stick, Headers, 4-Barrel Edelbrock Carburetor, MSD Electronic Ignition, Roll Cage, BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A 32×11.50 Tires. This original Willys was cleaned to the frame, and the frame repainted black. The body had the tailgate molded into the body in a roadster style. The hood was made into a 1-piece from the original 2 piece hood, then the entire body was painted gloss red. Seat Fabric & Foam was completely replaced anew this year! Recently Detailed, ready to go summer cruisin’.”

“1945 WWII acm type II tub with a 1946/7 CJ motor and T-90 transmission, original MB tag still present on frame. Machine gun pedestal mount present, definitely a WWII frame/tub.
Original data plates are missing. Previous owner added a tailgate, roll bar and a CJ-5 hard top. Used a winch in the front to haul deer through the back without busting a sweat.
Tool boxes flat and nice, not rusted out. Original floors present but have a sheet nicely laid over. It was done so well you can’t tell.
Original air cleaner, I believe carburetor and other parts.
If you’re looking for a gauranteed runner for a start to a project or a reenactor grade Jeep this won’t take much. Has Bondo on left side, some on hood and also on the back. For most it’s clean metal underneath. Tool channel patched with riveted stainless steel, that and tailgate are the worst spots.
Runs and drives great! Starts with the turn of a key. Open to offers. I can also deliver to surrounding states or cities within Kansas at cost.
Has missouri title but does not match, sold on Kansas bill of sale, will include title.
Will upload video to YouTube of it running and a walk around soon. Also available on ebay, need it gone soon.”
“I have a 1942 willys MB for sale. It is mostly original with some cj2a parts swapped in. Original military frame and body. The transmission and transfercase are original military. The axles are cj2a. The engine block is a cj2a with a military head. The windshield appears to be from a CJ and the seats aren’t original. This mb would make a good restoration project and I was planning to restore it too all original, but having an infant and a new house have made this project one I can’t take on. The body and frame aren’t rusted, I can send more pictures of places like the body supports underneath that are all intact. It is running and driving, I can also send you a video of it running. It has a clean nevada title.”
