“Needs a good home with someone with the time and knowledge to put her on the road. Everyone wants to know if it runs, it does not. It has a new radiator, new gas tank and steering linkage and steering wheel. As you can see it has a military body, so the body has to be older than ‘48 and a previous owner put a tailgate on it which it wouldn’t have. It does roll.”
Buz shared this uniquely colored yellow and white Willys MB. It looks like a detailed restoration.

“Purchased as a non-running Jeep from behind a barn in Memphis TN. Rebuilt as a project during Covid lockdown. Flat-head 60hp Go Devil engine converted to 12v, and new wiring and gauges installed throughout. Disk brakes added to the front to aid in drivability, and the front seats have been extended rearward into the rear fenders to allow a little more clearance between the steering wheel and the driver. Frame is powder coated. Axles, transmission/transfer case, and motor are all powder coated then rebuilt. Body work and painting performed off-the-frame at Fenix Automotive (https://www.fenixgarage.com/), and the full underside of the body is painted the same as the top side.”
Looks like a good build with a Bobcat hood.

“1sweet old jeep 289 headers cam Canopy top doors.”
I suspect this is an aftermarket CJ body atop a military chassis. The body has civilian aspects, but the rear cargo area has the boxes necessary to allow the vertical shocks seen on MBs and GPWs.

“project with lots of potential. Runs and drives but should be towed to location. Engine is not original, it is a Chevy 4 cylinder. I got this rig from a friend who has the title, if we can’t locate the title I can get an affidavit”
It runs. Bill shared it. The jeep is local to him, so he could take a look at it for someone if need be.

“1942 WWII Military Willys MB Jeep. Mostly original and has been stored inside for many years. It runs, drives, brakes, and most everything works on it. I just drove it on the road last weekend. It has most of the original parts still with it (from what I can tell). Engine, driveline, and chassis are all original also. Converted to 12 volt and all lights work. Straight sheet metal and very little rust. Also comes with a couple of fabric doors and 2 Danbury Mint die-cast models. Clean title. $12,500 OBO.”
