About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“In family for 40 some odd years. Kept in storage. It runs, has tags, roll bar, tows, front tow bar. has been in the rubicon in the 70’s. Really in pretty good shape. Easy to work on. I learned to drive on it. Hate to sell it.”
“1944 Willys MB WWII military Jeep. Sold at auction from Fort Riley, KS military base years ago and used in western Kansas by a Jeep enthusiast for hunting until he ran into poor health from old age around 10 years ago. Was later purchased by a neighbor from the estate and revived to running condition. I purchased from that neighbor in 2016.

New master cylinder, rear drums, wheel studs, wheel brake cylinders and brake shoes. Full fluid change, tune up and lube job. Rebuilt carb.

(01/25/2018) This doesn’t run at the moment. It has modifications. I believe it may have been partly disassembled. I believe the pic shows what it looked like prior to that.
“1942 (I think) Willys Jeep for sale. Has the 9-slit grille. Modifications by previous owner(s) include a lift, larger rear fuel tank, and a Ford small block V8. Does not run. I took this on as my first car project and haven’t had the time in a year to do any work on it, so it’s time to get my garage space back.”

“Experimental? 312 engine was informed by the long retired pilot Air Force. Found locally near Hyde field near Andrews AFB .. 312 virtually identical to 292 without checking numbers on crankshaft. Complete except carb. Parts or restore – pto, Dana 44s, tow bar. One off hand built cap. Still has some military type script on inside of cap, looks like they used recycled ductwork or equiptment steel. Ford mustang type seats. .. no parts this on really needs to be researched. Haven’t been able to locate a VIN. Confusion as to all that have studied it. No parts sell as whole unit. Bill of Sale. Great conversation piece, yard art or rare historical piece. Pretty solid except for some floor pan and rocker repair.“
