About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(09/06/2018) The hood is CJ, but the rest could be MB/GPW.
“1943 military jeep with some mods. Not running at this time but all running gear is in good shape. Has a 225 c.i. dauntless v6 from a 69 jeepster commando. Body needs work and it needs a master cylinder and exhaust system. This will go anywhere offroad. No title but do have some paper work.”
“Registered (non-op currently) as a 1967 due to a motor swap, this Flat Fender Jeep is actually a 40’s or early 50’s Jeep Willys. The motor is a Chevy 283 V8 from a 67′ Chevelle. This Jeep is full of goodies and smog exempt. After owning her for more than 10 years (Originally a bachelors toy), it’s time to find a new home as there’s little room for kids & dogs in a Willys. One guarantee, This Jeep makes people smile, especially children when they see it. Like a big bright yellow Tonka toy. It’s also a blast to take to classic car shows as it’s always one of the oldest vehicles in attendance and often the most unique (not just another hotrod/muscle car in the lineup, and the only on that can go OFF the highway). “1943 Jeep Willy
3rd owner. 4 cylinder runs and drives great. Perfect for around town or tow up to the mountains. Always taken care of. 3 speed. 4 wheel high and low. Very very clean title in hand”
“Sitting in the barn for the past 20 years. Rolled out to get something off shelf and figured I would take pictures and list it. Needs minor work as you would expect form sitting for years (master and wheel cylinders, battery). Old vehicle with pretty much all original parts (except locking hubs, signals with dual brake lights). Price is firm and as is.
Was listed as 44, someone pointed out that it is a 43, sorry.”
(05/27/2017) It’s missing the full floaters in the rear.
“1942 MB Willys Jeep
Non original motor. Body is in pretty good shape. Has a good New Mexico title. Will require total restoration. I have a MBT Willys trailer or Bantam trailer that can be bought separately.”
