About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1943 Jeep Willy’s L134 4 cylinder engine. 3 speed manual with overdrive. Mechanically sound start right up everytime. Testing waters not in a rush to sell make me an offer.”
“Selling straight original frame with axles only. Frame is uncut and rust free. Axles are original WW2. Frame needs front bumper. Still has original machine gun mount. Nice early frame for restoring a WW2 jeep.”
“1945 Willys rolling frame includes engine, bell housing, trans and t-case, axles with springs, and steering gear box.
Engine is seized so it’s not included in the asking price. Frame is in bad shape but parts were left on it to facilitate transport. Transmission is missing shift cane.
Includes front and rear output shafts.
I also have salvaged body parts: cowl, rear wheel well sections, hood and windshield frame. All in bad shape but are free.
NOTE: CASH ONLY…Do NOT reply with bogus offers to send cashiers check and pick up jeep later.”

“Family situation forces sale. 1953 Hurricane engine, T-90 transmission, new glass, newer tires, newly rebuilt generator, 12 volt, newer battery, new regulator. The tool channels were filled with bondo.
The id number is a MB number, but is considered a 1947 by the DMV. The tub is a MB. The jeep was modified for a film to look like a M38. The driver side has been smoothed over with bondo at some point, but the ribs for the tools can be seen on the inside.
The window is post war as well as the M38 grille.”

Originally published 2013 .. You’ll note the one pictured above seems to be the same as the one in the swamp, based on the hood number.
(09/15/2017) Listed as a 1942, it looks more like a civilian body and rear axle.
“1942 Jeep Willy’s body on 1970’s Jeep chassis. 60’s 327 Chevy with 3 speed manual. Twin stick transfer case. Fresh alternator, power steering pump, power steering pressure line, brake master cylinder. There is some rust on the undercarriage but no holes. This Jeep is not for someone looking for a daily driver but would bee a great starting point for someone looking for an off-road toy. Clean title. I’m listing this for my father in law so I will need 24 hour notice to show it. Please call or text.”
