About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(07/24/2017) The body appears civilian and it’s missing rear floaters and the bumper supports in the front.
“1943 Willys MB military Jeep 4 x 4. Three speed Flathead 4 cylinder 134 cc go-devil engine.
Fully restored street-legal registered to date. Too much to list that has already been done.
Museum or parade ready, or just drive and have fun ! no smog required a piece of History $12,000 Paso Robles.
“A military Jeep with all the trimmings will make anyone take notice, but really, know why you’re stopping to check this one out. It’s hard not to get excited about driving the bedrock of freedom, especially when it’s this affordable.
The military Jeep was an international superstar, and this one demonstrates that perfectly. Wearing Royal Air Force (RAF) livery, it’s a reminder that the Jeep just didn’t help America win the WWII… it was an asset to all the Allied forces. So even Britain utilized the Jeep (their Range Rover was a post-war product.) This is the great Anglo-American blend where the iconic military Jeep’s nine-slot grille and camo paint meet that RAF badge and roundel. Plus, this one has all the great accessories to make it truly look like it can go anywhere. The jerry can, rear-mounted spare, spotlight, and side mounted shovel make this a great authentic showpiece for any event or parade. Continue reading →
Mark Smith from Sellajeep, warjeeps, and jeep truck forward these gov liquidation.com jeeps for sale. All of them are good looking. See them all at this link of individually below.
(09/10/2017) No pics provided. This might be a Higgins remanufactured jeep.
“This is a restoration project and needs to be completely restored. It is a Normandy Higgins equipped WWII jeep that was used in the invasion of Normandy beach. It is on a trailer and comes with military tires to put on it. Includes base frame and plate for the Browning machine gun to mount on it.”
“Regret to get rid of my 43 MB. Clean title ready for a parade or a day on the town!!
With the family growing the MB needs to go! This is not a 100% restored 43 MB, but close. most people will not know. It is not a cj2 or a gpw but a MB.
1943 MB all original except for a few items. ( Windshield, 1965 327 Corvette motor, lock out hubs, new shocks, new after market slave cylinder for clutch, new updated brakes, rear LED lights, pintel hitch and a few Ford GPW parts. )
This jeep runs and drives great. I drive it to work and back often 40 miles round trip. 4×4 works great along with the twin stick transfer case and lock out hubs.
New era specific non directional good year tires, rope, and fuel tank.
May consider trades trade on a TJ or newer jeep wrangler , cattle , and newer side by side. 2007 or newer 3/4 ton or 2500 chevy dodge or ford 2wd, sub compact or compact hydrostatic tractor 2wd”
Jim spotted this one. It has some CJ parts, including the head.
“Jeep comes with rebuilt transmission, parts engine plus other miscellaneous parts. It has new brake lines, brakes, tires, tubes and new canvas top and seats. Jeep runs but needs a battery. Does not have title but has NC DMV registration bar code and sticker. Have headlights and new headlight cage mounting bracket. Due to health reason I’m no longer able to work on it. No problem getting the title.”
Listed as a 1943, it appears to have an M-38 body. Looks like this could have been a racer at some point (given the team relay flag holder on the cage).
