Mark spotted this auction of D-Day Nerrant & Fils items at the Artcurial website. The items are located in France. There are some jeeps and trailers and other models.

The 1947 Craftsman Annual Project Magazine contains forty-four wide ranging projects for the builder who was to try constructing everyone. Of course, there’s a battery toy jeep project among the items (directions shown below), but also included in the magazine are plans for building from scratch a welder, a battery-less telephone, a Jolly Roger boat, a hand vise, a rocket, a farm tractor (from car parts), and much more.

UPDATE: This was listed last March on eBay. It’s back.
This battery powered jeep was built by J. F. Scott of Seattle. It weighed 100lbs and can reach 10mph. Based on all the kids, it doubles as a personnel carrier, too!

J.C. spotted this squirrel in a jeep-shaped squirrel feeder that’s in his backyard. These were being sold on eBay a few years ago.
UPDATE: Anyone know anything about these jeeps? Tony has one and wanted to get some more information about it.
This gold-plated CJ-5 sold on eBay in 2013.

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS IT IS ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE , THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUMPER IS BROKEN OFF (THIS IS QUITE TYPICAL ON THESE) AND THE WIND SHIELD WILL FOLD ALL THE WAY BACK AS SEEN IN THE PICS. IT WILL ALSO STAY IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION, WILL DISPLAY VERY NICELY.ALSO HAS ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE.”
Richard Michalsky builds “mini-jeeps” out of his shop in Bolivia. These jeeps are all metal. The first vehicle, an MB look-a-like was completed in 3 years. It is 25% Smaller than the original vehicle and is 2WD, but has made of the same details. It is powered with a 3 Cyl engine from a Kia 1000cc. It weighs around 1250lbs.
This second jeep is a civilian model. It’s styled different, but appears to be built in a way similar to the MB-like jeep. It too is only 2WD. They look like a kick to drive around.
Pfc. Harold B. Whiting of Plainfield, New Jersey, built an award-winning model jeep that in 1946 that landed temporarily on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This article was featured in the February 2, 1946, issue of the Afro-American. I wonder where that model is now??
Some folks were interested in more photos of the Smokey Bear Music Box, so Marty Tilford shared some good photos of his.
The music box is a convertible CJ-5 jeep and Smokey Bear with 2 cubs riding inside. The CB radio cord is rubber but all other material is resin. Music box plays “TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROAD”, which is a John Denver song. Measures about 4-1/2″ tall and has a base measurement of 6″ x 4″.
