About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Hence the wonderful condition (NO RUST), unlike many of the same age in England. It was a FFR (fitted for radio) truck on a British Military Base. So the mileage was under 20,000 when brought to the United States.
It was a rare find! Lightweight Modifications: 24 volt Ex-Humvee Warn Winch with OKOR Winchrope, HD aluminum Hawse fairlead and self-locking winch hook. Rplaced stock leaf springs and original shocks with Rocky Mountain parabolic springs, Old Man Emu long-travel shocks, longer military spring shackles, and rear bump stop extensions. The difference is awesome! Old Man Emu Steering stabilizer. Replaced Good Year 31″ Hi-Miler tires on original rims with Dunlop Mud Rover 33×12.50×15 tires on OKOR XD 15″ steel wheels with 3″ backspacing. Gas tank skid plates and steering guard. Diff guards front and rear. Front pinion guard. Custom hidden rock sliders mounted behind checker plate sills. This Land Rover has been to MOAB twice and the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, AR most recently. A Great Off Road Machine.”
Needs some work, but might not be a bad price if it can easily be made to run.
“M 274 4X4 ARMY MULE 1958

4 WHEEL DRIVE, 4 WHEEL STEERING, 4 CYLINDER WILLYS AIR COOLED ENGINE, PULL START, 3 SPEED HIGH AND LOW RANGE TRANS, STORED FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS. LOTS OF EXTRA PARTS.
ENGINE RAN WHEN STORED BUT NEEDS WORK BECAUSE OF AGE.”
“Pair Austin Champs British Military Jeeps
HUGE amount of extra parts.
This auction is for both jeeps, all parts, books, etc.
One looks to be 1960 and one looks to be a 1962.
As you can see one is in a little better shape than the other.
NOT RUNNING. Both Rolls Royce engines intact. Looks like all drive trains intact.
The engine turned on the one in better condition as the fan was turning when we towed it out and it was in gear, so the motor is free on that one. We are pretty sure they other motor will turn as well.
These are rugged old units.
A lot of various parts included. All books look to be original.
Have extra front fenders, a complete windshield unit, and steering wheel and column not pictured.
Also have extra drive train parts.
These are pick up only. Bring a big trailer. Probably 2 pallets of parts.
We can assist with loading. All arrangements up to winning bidder.
Don’t ask us to part these out. You get everything!!
These are outside. They will remain there until picked up. Parts are stored inside.
I added what pics I could. If you want more or specifics ask.”
UPDATE: This was listed in NY in January. Now it’s being sold out of New Jersey.
“The only one in the U.S., a hybrid German Border Patrol Jeep made by the predecessor of AUDI [DKW Auto Union] in the late 50’s, Has a newly rebuilt VW air cooled engine with manual trans, big Military type tires and runs great….especially in parades and is a winner in car shows. Need room in my collector car garage so am letting go this special one of a kind. Registered in NJ as a antique ’68 VW and MUNGA model.”
Has a salvage title, but sure looks in good shape.
“I have an 1989 jeep grand wagoneer for sale $3850 it as a 5.9 v8 auto, air, Windows locks everything works. It does have a salvage title from a front crash runs and drives great. Would consider a trade for a Toyota pickup or ford ranger must be 4×4 and an extra cab or a jeep wrangler.”
This is a rare Alaskan Postal Delivery Service Scrambler.
“This is a Rare Right Hand Drive (RHD) Jeep Scrambler CJ-8.
Jeep made around 230 of these Scramblers in 1984 for the Alaskan Postal Delivery Service.
This Jeep runs and drives, however once she is warmed up she tends to want to stall out at stoplights if you don’t feather the throttle a bit. Rather than messing with the single barrel carb on there, I have a rebuilt dual barrel Motorcraft 2100 ready to be installed, but have not yet had the time.
The details are as follows:
The drive train of this Jeep is stock (carbureted 4.2 L 6 cylinder with automatic trans)
4WD works
Rare World Cab Hard Top, only sold in USA on these 230 Alaskan Jeeps. All other Scramblers were sold as Pickup Trucks in the US! South America got these world cab or Overland cab tops, but very few of those in US!
31″ tires with bed lined 15×8 wagon wheels
“1988 Suzuki Samurai running gear with M38 repro. military jeep body. This a a project that needs work but have most of the parts to complete it.
Engine and trans is not mounted in frame as it needs to be set back 4 inches, also drive shaft to the transfer case shorten 4″. Transmission case is cracked but is complete.
Comes with original samurai wheels. Have passenger side seat for it.
Will need to be hauled on a trailer.”
Dan spotted this truck. Looks pretty solid for an old Arkansas vehicle.
“1963 Willy’s Jeep Gladiator Pick up, pretty rare, solid old truck. Has the 230 tornado overhead cam straight 6 cylinder, 3 speed on column, 4 X 4 works good, clean interior, good body with older amateur paint job, new 10 ply tires, new brakes, all new gauges, it’s a J-300 heavy duty truck with 8 foot bed. Runs and drives and would take very little to be a daily driver. May take trades, but if yours is not worth more than $4250 in the REAL WORLD, please be ready to add cash or don’t waste my tim”
Maybe some value here? Don’t forget the giant PTO wench!
“1945 Ford Burma Jeep 4X4. Converted to pull well pipe. everything is there, Giant PTO wench in front, needs full restoration. Still has old black and yellow California plates on it. No paper work, bill of sale only”
“Rare CJ10a Jeep project for sale, one of only 2200 built for the Air Force. It is 2 wheel drive, has the transmission, but the engine is gone (not there, missing, doesn’t have one) It is pretty original, and needs a restoration, or would be awesome converted to a pickup, crawler, hotrod, ? It uses the same dash, hood, windshield frame, and many other parts as a regular CJ5,7,8 etc. but the grille, fenders and tub are different. The Jeep does not have much rust, only a few tiny bubbles on the top and a 50 cent piece sized hole in the floor. It was never used on the road, so it never had a title ! I bought it from an airport. It does have a vin. Very cool Jeep, and the only reason I am selling it is because I am building a house and could use the money. Having said that, I don’t really want to sell it, and the price is FIRM at $2500 cash, Not to sound like a jerk, but NO I WILL NOT TAKE LESS, OR TRADES”
