Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hard top and doors for jeep cj2a, cj2b, cj3a, cj3b (doors need to be modified to fit the cj3b). Roll up windows. Needs some work but not too bad.”

Looks solid, but needs some cosmetic work. Seller could be correct not he cab model.
“Half top for a willys cj5 or cj6 believed to be a koenig 355 with doors and full roll up windows. Very good shape and you can winterize your cj, all glass is good latches and hinges are in good shape, paint to your specifications and change the look of your machine , very good shape no rust other than on surface in the primer it was painted with”

This rare top looks in good shape.
“Jeep CJ5 (not CJ7), fiberglass hardtop by Acme. Fits 1976 and newer but will work with earlier CJ5 or M38A1 using a 1976 or newer windshield frame, ( I have some of these for sale). Very nice condition. Paintable to any color. $850. ”

I can’t tell if there’s a dent on the top’s upper passenger side or if that’s just dirt.

Bill spotted these. Colin tells me these are “49-51 Jeepster, 2 WD station wagon, 49-53 “outies” –they are two piece with center circle raised. Stainless steel cap covering over a “baby moon ” plain hubcap.”

The shape of the top is Porter & Reed-like, but I’ve not seen one with those large windows. I wonder if they were added later?
