About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Full family style roll cage with 3 race buckets with covers. May trade for ammunition or firearms. No reloads! Don’t contact me on ad if you are not willing to drive to Wickenburg. Seat mounts are tied into cage.”
Seller sounds ready to sell altogether or separately.
“53′ jeep willys parts. 2x roll cages, hoods, doors, fenders, grills, tub, axles, frame, straight 6 engine, 2 different manual transmissions, plus a lot of small parts. Condition of parts varies from very good to very poor. Let me know what you’re looking for and we’ll talk price.”
“Half cab steel top and doors for cj2a flat fender Willys jeep. Came with a project I recently picked up but don’t think I’ll be using them. Believe to be Meyer brand based on feedback and other pictures, but no tags. In great shape with no structural rust and all windows intact, top has kind of padded vinyl wrap. Doors have pretty clever way of setting the window height with little handle and latches. Located in NW Iowa.”
“As pictured, likely the only one of its kind left, NOS straight from a Willys Jeep dealership parts inventory…
If you are doing a factory 100 point restoration, or if you just want to have a shortblock ready to go vs having to find and wait on a (more expensive) engine rebuild shop this is ready for you!
My dad and I bought this Willys Overland flat head, 4 cyl. Shortblock flathead engine years ago. It sure was an exciting find! It was still in its original factory crate which fell apart as we loaded it out of the dealership. (Somewhere I even have pictures of it the day we found it).
Fast forward years ahead, our 1946 CJ2A is a fine running Jeep and our other Jeeps use different engines. So, I either keep this as a spare, buy another Jeep project or find someone who can use this now. As a friend reminded me, I’ll be sorry to see this go as I’ll never find another brand new one again in my lifetime! I can load and deliver to new owner at the Ohio Jeep show coming up in mid May – Canton, Ohio.”
“Jeep Willy’s CJ-2A Hard Top With Doors $500 obo. Trades welcomed. It’s a bit rough but complete. Bought it for my 3A but the rounded windshield makes it more work than it’s worth.”
Tim’s selling these two parts. He is willing to ship if buyer pays for shipping. You can contact Tim at willysjeep @ gmail.com (remove spaces from around the @).
“I have a very good reconditioned leaf spring ( 34 1/2″ centers relaxed) and nice 9″ drum (never been turned). Looking for $35 for either plus shipping”
“WARN Willys Jeep – SUMMER HUBS – 2WD Freewheel, Vintage. A little less than 3.5” bolt pattern. Not exactly sure which years and model axles and Jeeps that these fit. See photos for detailed description, more available on request. Appears needle bearings are still present.”
(02/26/2023) Looks in good shape. The seller indicates it fits a CJ-2A, but it looks like it is on a CJ-5? It also looks like it has the CJ-5 form on the top rather than the dual-angled CJ-2A version.
