This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. According to Fred on a CJ-2A forum thread, this photo shows the tailgate that Fred purchased back in 2016.
I’m not sure there’s $2500 in value here, but maybe not everything is pictured? Still, there may be some good parts and useful documents/manuals.

GM SM420 4 speed transmission rebuild by Herm the OD guy, compound low first gear, final drive 100 to 1
Novak Adapter to rebuilt Large shaft Dana 18 transfer case
New never used Warn OD unit from Herm the OD guy.
As above this was built for a willys but will adapt to any pre smog Jeep.

These re only the side panels and doors. These could be handy if you have the remaining hardtop parts. This should fit a Sears/Allstate half-top.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
This appears to have most of the elements of a Porter & Reed hardtop, except that the rear of the top is rounded. This feels like a transitional top between what was Porter & Reed and whomever purchased the company (if any one did). Early Koenig tops were similar to this, so perhaps Koenig (out of Texas) purchased Porter & Reed (out of Kansas)??
