This looks like it was a racer.  Now it’s a parts jeep.

“Selling a Willys jeep that I was going to use for a project but have bought something else so it needs to find a new home. NO MOTOR OR TRANNY! NO TITLE! It is 2wd right now but have a set of CJ axles I would sell also if someone was interested. Body is in decent condition and would make some good parts for another jeep or make a crawler out of it. Old engine was a small block chevy. I don’t want to scrap it out since there aren’t to many of these still around so let me know if you are interested. Hurray!  I finally have some pics of an flattie swamp racer.  I knew one of these would pop up sooner or later!

“F-Head 4 cyl jeep engine complete, T-90 transmission fresh rebuild. Dana 18 or 20 transfer case. Complete racing elctronic ignition. Spare duplicate ignition system. Autometer gauges, Autometer procomp memory 9K 5” tack. Removable steering wheel
pass and driver seats with 5 point harness. Sweet racing rack and pinion. Sway bar.  Dana 30 open knuckle ft. diff. 5:38 gears.  “44 flanged axle rear” 5:38.  1- piece tilt front end. Full roll cage.  Ldder bar coilover shocks rear. 3 gal alum. fuel cell.  Fire extinguesher. # plate.  Ar pick up box. Rear mounted alum. core radiator with all plumbing. Battery box with acc cables + hold down. Pan hard bar.  Drive shaft loops F+R. Tow hooks F+R. Smached 9000X16 military tires. Fresh blue paint. Rear mounted kill switch. Metalic clutch disc + pressure plate. 2X2 into 1 header.  New 500 holley carb (raced one time). Carb adapter. Alum. gas pedal. Here’s a couple pics from Gerald of a Zooped up F-Head.  Gerald writes, “Here are pictures of a hot rod f-Head.  This is in a tube frame racer at Lisbon in 02.  Not the kind of motor you see spinning high rpms.  From what little he would say it had a dry sump oil system,  a block girdle,  “modified” head, custom fabbed intake, electronic ignition, etc.  It may have had nitrous as well nut not sure.  That hood was open in public for less than 5 minutes.  He was not real talkative.  But man that thing flew.”

I found a zooped up L-head article that I’ll feature tomorrow.
