Someone stole this CJ-2A. If you see the jeep for sale, either email me directly or contact the poster of this theft @ 5757700180. Listed as a 1942, it’s obviously a CJ-2A.

“Some lowlife took this motorless 42 Willys from Taos, Nm, sometime between Monday 5/26 and Saturday 5/31… there is a reward for information leading to its return.

Update: a witness saw a +/- 2000 1 ton red Dodge flatbed with my Willys on a fifth wheel trailer heading north out of Taos on Saturday 5/31… any and all information would be appreciated.”

UPDATE:  Lee recovered his jeep thanks to work by the Deputies at the Coconino County Sheriffs Office.  Unfortunately, it had been disassembled.

“****My beautiful 1950 CJ-3A was stolen from the barn at our cabin sometime between June 24th and June 29th, 2012.  The Cabin is in Clear Creek Pines units 8/9.  35 mi south of Winslow AZ. I love my old Willys and I hope I get her back in one piece.”

If you see it, report it.  There is a reward.  You’d think there would be some security camera video of the theft.

THIS TRUCK WAS STOLEN FROM THE BOARDWALK MOTEL PARKING DECK IN SOUTH CAROLINA. BETWEEN SATURDAY NIGHT MARCH 17TH AFTER 10:30 PM AND SUNDAY MORNING BEFORE 6:30!

Well, that’s the second old jeep stolen in Washington State in the last two weeks (this GPW was stolen last week).

“Partially restored 1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A White stolen out of a barn in Harrington, WA 60 miles from Spokane. Been in family nearly 40 years. Very sad situation. Reward for leads leading to recovery. Call Jim at 509-721-0730 or Eric at 509-995-6123.”

I’ve only heard of a few flatties being stolen over the years.  Keep a look out for this one.
