Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here are some wide rims. Looks like they could use some paint.

“A set of 5 turbine wheels and tires that came off of my Jeep Scrambler. Bolt pattern 5×5.5. Tires are mismatched and only good for rollers, not road use. 4 wheels are the same and one(the spare) is slightly different. Should fit Jeep CJ5, CJ6, CJ7 and CJ8.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown.** was priced at $100.
“I have four good used Goodyear Wrangler XT Terra Tires, size 31X15.5X15 LT, on 15X15? rims, 5X5.5 Bolt Pattern. These were a farmers winter only tires on a jeep I bought. I don’t hit the mud so I don’t need them. Located in Cloverdale.”
UPDATE: Were $150. **SOLD**
“15inch by 8.5 inch turbine rims from the 70’S. Bolt holes are 5 on 5.5 Ford and Jeep pattern. Only 2 rims have road rash as seen in pics, all rims have the clear coat yellowing and peeling, they are dirty from being outside. They may be real magnesium because they do seem light. Manufacturer unknown not stamped.”

“HI I HAVE 4 DESERT DOG TIRES, 2 ARE THE NEWER AND 2 ARE THE FORMULA ONES. THE NEWER ONES ARE 25% TREAD AND THE FORMULA ARE 50% TREAD BUT KINDA MESSED UP BUT STILL VERY RUN ABLE.”

I’m digging those old school white three-spoke rims. Impossible to find.
“Two 1946 Willies Jeeps . Both are currently not running . I believe all components should be there . The red willies was stored in a barn for over 20 years . Both for $ 1,850 ”

Here’s a great price on 2 sets of rims.
“i have 2 sets of turbine style wheels. these are similar to the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee wheels. the one set is in excellent condition. the other set has 2 in excellent condition and 2 with a couple hairline cracks that need repair at a welding shop. they are all 15in. wheels and have 5×5.5 hole pattern for dodge and ford pickups. they are both about 8.5 – 10in. wide i can measure them for you if you want me to. $125 for both sets.”
