About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Converto T6 1942 Military Trailer. This is a rare trailer. I’m the recent and second owner. Original owner purchased it in 1947 from the War Assets Administration. I have all of the original sale documentation. Ideally would be purchased by someone who would restore it but would make a great utility or off-road or overlanding trailer.”
“Station wagon body. No motor or tyranny. Body is bolted on a trailer as a camper? I didn’t do it. Good solid parts here though. What you see is what you get. Dash is good, doors, fenders, hood, grill, both bumpers are great. Nice start for a custom build..or spare parts. Local pickup only and thanks
SORRY but there’s NO TITLE folks.
AND…I’ve been ask about floor inside body..it is solid and I’ll try to add pics of it. Try. Please remember I’m selling body and what you see. Period. Don’t make offers….BID. again..thanks”
“This is a trailer made with a box from an old jeep willys fc170 pickup truck. The box is 9′ long on the inside and 4’1″ wide on the inside. Cheap utility trailer, or build an overland expedition trailer. You could fit 31″ tires or maybe larger. Stake pockets to easily put a rack on it and rooftop tent. No title, but it’s pretty easy to get one. It’s wired but the wiring most likely needs work. Tailgate works as it should. Safety chains.”
Shane is selling this Bantam trailer with what he says are original wood bows and canvas.
“1947 Bantam T3-C Jeep Trailer. Everything Original other than repainted 35 years ago. Excellent condition – two small tears in the tarp. This trailer has been stored for the past 30 years in a garage – no rust. The tarp is original with the two small noted tears. The bows are all original as well as the lights. I have the original set of tires/rims as well 6.00×16 but am running 6.75×15 currently. Beautiful trailer to pull behind anything with ease – these were civilian versions of the WWII Jeep trailer. “American Central Manufacturing (ACM) supplied tubs and frames to the American Bantam Car Company for the Model T3 and also to Willys Overland Motors Inc for the Model MB-T who were both under contract during WWII to produce 1/4 ton amphibious trailers (this trailer is not – has the fold-down tailgate) and kept parts interchangeable between the two models. Through military records we can determine how many amphibious trailers were built and when, but there currently is not any known “Official” civilian production records. Civilian trailers were noted at T3-C.””

“Small utility trailer. Has many compartments and access doors . Has a couple holes but still pretty solid. Need tires. 1 7/8” ball. No title or registration. Box is 50”x 46”. Total length with tongue is about 7’0”. Wheel base is 4’0”. 16 inch rims. $100.00/best offer”
“Custom well made Jeep CJ5 trailer great for camping and pulling behind your Jeep. Tool box, cover, solar lighting, racks for shovel axe etc. 2000 or trade for decent golf cart. Nevada title in my name.”
“1946 Bantam T3C Jeep trailer. Has the title, working 4 pin lights, new NDT tires on 16″ rims. Very original, recently repainted, new reproduction data tag. Landing leg was extended to make it lean backwards-so water drains out instead of pooling at front. Could easily be cut off if you’re a purist for original. This is a classic jeep trailer, great for utility. Floor measure 3’x6′, top flares out to 4’x6′. Perfect for hauling gravel, furniture, etc, without owning a truck (I pull one like this behind my hatchback all the time). Tows behind a car or jeep just fine at highway speeds with 1/2 ton+ hauling capacity. Ground clearance makes it perfect to camp or haul things into remote areas. Still works hard at 75+ years old, and just as easily looks great in a parade behind a jeep! If you want a quick kit from a box store, go ahead and do so. If you want an awesome vintage piece of American steel, this is what you’re looking for.”
