About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Maybe someone can narrow this one down, it does have some HD hubs on there. Pintle and drop leg look legit, has some brake parts not the handle. Fender brackets look rounded.
1945 1/4 ton willys / bantam. Trailer everything on it looks original ..except the tires of course , it is missing the tailgate and lights and fenders ..great project 450.00 or bo …I just towed it 4 miles so its towable..The bed has small rust holes in spots but its actually pretty sturdy i stood in it..
1955 Bantam and Jeep Willys Trailers $500 each Chandler, AZ
I don’t think the Bantam is a Military per say, the other to the left has the makings of one, Pintle Hitch, Brakes, little rough but not a bad price. That data plates been there a minute, but Im not sure on that mounting location many more experts out there to qualify what that might be, it either has a cutout back panel or Tailgate, again most I see are flat panels on the Military stuff, very little experience on these.
But there are some more gems hiding around these trailer, the rims could be useful, there is a Jeep Grill looks like, never know what you will find. Of course, snakes, spiders and scorpions and the sort be super careful out that way in all seriousness.
Information from seller:
Military trailers 1000.00 for both or 500 a piece. I believe I have the title for on of them 1955 Bantam.
This was purchased by my grandfather new. Serial number 19171. Camper shell has been on the trailer for decades and interior of bed is in great condition. Everything looks original aside from some some spray paint and tires. Minimal rust and no holes.
