This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Ball hitch trailer. Top rim of the trailer is 4 foot by 6 foot long. The hitch is an additional two feet. Floor has some holes along the edge and one tire is flat.”

“1942 Ford GPW Jeep. Serial number GPW-70489 Jeep Comes with new windshield frames, rear floorboards, and new sections of the frame. THERE IS NO DRIVE TRAIN or hood. Someone had swapped civilian stuff under it and it was complete junk. Jeep does come with a title. The trailer is a 1948 bantam. Previous owner cut out the floor other than that it is in good shape. Both for 2000. Will not respond to is this available.”
Blaine spotted these ads for several jeeps and trailers for sale. The ads have similar photos. The flatfender is most likely a 1946 2A.

“Bantam Trailer for sale – 1945 I received the trailer as you see it in the pictures, used the trailer around the property but do not need it any more. Tires hold air, wheel axle turns ok, no bottom (as you can see in the pictures) and no tail gate. Not road worthy, I have made no modifications, hitch is the way I received the trailer, paint is peeling. Hopefully someone can use the trailer for parts or restore? $200 obo Thanks”
