Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/05/2015) I’ve seen this up close. It’s a solid truck that has potential.
“This is a 1952 Willys flatbed truck. Has a Studebaker v8 engine but does not run. It has dings and scratches and some cracked glass but minimal rust. Has been kept in a barn for the past 25 years.”

“1949 Willy Jeep pickup truck. Barn find. Due to a surgery will not be able to with it what I wanted to. Body is solid. NO RUST THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hasn’t been run for quite some time. Have been told that motor was rebuilt about 2-5 years ago.

The Techatticup Mine camp was established 1861. The camp is part of the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. Now a tourist attraction, it includes an old Willys truck and, in some photos, a wagon.
The Techatticup Mine camp is located just outside the small town of Nelson Nevada in Eldorado Canyon. It is well reviewed on Trip Advisor. Businesses in the area offer historical mine tours and scenic blue water kayak trips on the Colorado River at the mouth of Black Canyon below Hoover Dam.

“very nice 62 willys truck.gone thru one end to the other.buick 6 cylinder 4 speed 4×4.disc brakes on ft.steering super tight.nice deep dish mags and excellent tires.new headliner and carpet.heater works great.nice stereo.lots of new parts ,alternator,brakes ,radiator,ect.runs and drives great.these are getting hard to find in this condition 11500.00 obo.”

“uy your loved one who desprately needs another “project”!something they really want for christmas! It is time to thin the herd a little. All jeeps are complete except for the flatbed. Wagons have small block chevys. Trucks are fords. Flatbed has no motor. All have titles and ran when parked. I have extra transmissions, transfer cases, fenders, hoods, grills, and everything else a jeep hoarder would have. Also have full size parts and cj. Will trade for cash and cash. Flatbed $800 all others $1000. come get them so I can buy more.”

“Women will love you and kids will want to be like you while you are driving this classic. 350 chevy small block bored 30, Edelbrock intake and carb, Sanderson headers, power steering and power brakes. Converted to 2 wheel drive. Runs awesome. Less than 5,000 miles on engine. Kept in a garage.”
