About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“great driving 1946 willys ratrod truck, sitting on an 85 s-10 frame with 350 engine with thumper cam, 700r4 overdrive trans with shift kit, new brake system and radiator everything works as it should just in time for the rod run,”
“1950 Willys pickup. Real barnyard find from a Margaretville dairy farm. Solid body and frame. New brake drums, shoes, hardware , wheel cyclinders and master cylinder, front end work, king pin bearings, wheel bearings, tie rods, center link, rear wheel bearings, new wiring harness/fuse box/battry. New carburetor, gas tank, gas lines. This is a running truck that still needs work to be road worthy and pass inspection. The tires hold air but are very old and have dry rot. Brakes will probably need to be re-bleed. Needs a headlight and, lights are not hook up yet. For those of you that are familiar with these trucks, when new they were meant to travel at best 45 mph, therefore its unrealistic to think that you can buy this truck as is and drive it up state. I’m looking for a serious buyer who wants to tinker with this and drive it to the local home depot or cruise night. If you are not very local you will need a trailer to bring this home (I have had this on a U-Haul trailer). ”
This may be worth a look. It appears it’s covered most of the time.
“I am selling my 52 willy’s jeep. I wish I knew more about it, just know I don’t have time to finish her up and make it the treasure it is. It was handed down to me. I do know it’s all original besides electric fan and fuel pump. It does not start right now, but it did before I towed it back to Emmett. I believe it needs new battery and tune up. Hasn’t been started for probably 10 years. It’s an awesome truck, some rust but the right owner would have her looking great. I’m asking 3500 call or text if you’d like little more info or look at it. ”

(07/28/2015) This has an interesting rear. For some reason it has the PTO bar in back?
“My dad’s 53 Willy 4X4 , straight six “Super Hurricane” 4 speed manual, hi lo transfercase. It does run but needs brake work and a few odds and ends tiddy-ed up. It has a winch mount in front and in the bed of the truck; along with a gin pole setup. We rebuilt this many years ago from the radiator to the tailpipe and used to take it to Colorado to use on trails or general running around while camping. It has a few modifications for the trails but for the most part it is stock.
Make me an offer”
