Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/28/2015) This has an interesting rear. For some reason it has the PTO bar in back?
“My dad’s 53 Willy 4X4 , straight six “Super Hurricane” 4 speed manual, hi lo transfercase. It does run but needs brake work and a few odds and ends tiddy-ed up. It has a winch mount in front and in the bed of the truck; along with a gin pole setup. We rebuilt this many years ago from the radiator to the tailpipe and used to take it to Colorado to use on trails or general running around while camping. It has a few modifications for the trails but for the most part it is stock.
